I don't think it's that easy. However, DD would be remembered as a great coach by so many more people if he hadn't run his mouth like he did. He brought his own downfall. Even if he had ultimately gotten fired, had he had some class with the way he dealt with the situation, more people would have supported him. Including me. I just can't deal with the crap that flowed out of his mouth in public. I have no idea what he was like behind closed doors. All I saw was what was published and that was enough for me. I think he had some great coaching moments.

If we can run and pass the ball well, a slow QB will make yards. Especially if the QB can throw it 40+ yards with some accuracy. We have to have some faith the staff knows what they are doing. (until they prove otherwise) Plus, not every kid will be a star player, much less a starter. We have to have backups and role players.

Yeah, if this thing goes like it should then we may lose some great coaches down the road. Hopefully the program will be in place to where they can be replaced and it be as seamless as possible. I love seeing some true optimism around here for the first time in a long time.

Maybe in the future some Ozzy can be added to the intro? (yes I know it's spelled differently)
