Dang, we beat'em by a TD.

Aaron, Los Angeles fans are pretty bad. They support the Lakers pretty well(but who knows when they lose) but that's about it. Well, to be fair...there are alot of USC and UCLA grads that support their schools...BUT it's hard for the Bruins to ever sell out the Rose Bowl, even with a massive enrollment and alumni base(not to mention just the insane amount of people out here). They do a great job of selling out Pauley Pavillion(even this last year when they were so bad), but USC doesn't draw flies for their basketball program. It's kinda funny because Anaheim has pretty loyal fans, they just have a much smaller fan base to tap from. They are looked down upon by alot of "LA fans"...because they're dwarfed by the big city. *************** BTW...I don't like the Cowboys, and never really did. I went into a state of depression the years they won it all, and their current state gives me great joy. That said, I hated all the fair weather fans that hated them when they were down and then jumped on the bandwagon when they won.

It was a 32 point lead...and even if the Oilers had won that game, I doubt they woulda gotten past Pittsburgh or Miami - both on the road.

We haven't had a solid presence inside in...heck I don't even remember the last time.

It's good to see our Ladies continue to play well. Perhaps this year we can finally sneak into the NCAA tourney.

My mom wrote for the Daily in those days(mid to late 70's). I believe she told me that that game was a sellout as well. If not, it musta been damn close. As far as the SMU game, wasn't that one on January 22nd 1977? Or did we host the Mustangs two years in a row? I only ask because my mom was at that game, and had to leave at the half, because she went into labor with my brother.

I've followed the squad since the late 80's/early 90's when I was still just a kid. Still there's a *whole* lot of folks I never saw.

I don't go back that far, but it was nice to see some folks in the last 10 or so years on the list.

First season opening 'W' since 1997? Attaway to get off to a good start this year. If I remember right, we've made big progress in volleyball that last few seasons, here's hoping it continues.

Without many schools in the southwest playing D1 hockey travel expenses could potentially be massive.
