They're in the toughest region, by far. I do think they have a decent shot at an upset first round though.

That WAS a great game. I do enjoy the bigger conference tourney's though as well. The Big XII semi's were both great games for example.

They were a bit sloppy, but I gotta give Knight props. He had his squad ready, with a solid gameplan. UCLA blew the Oregon game. They totally outplayed the Ducks but gave it away at the end. Good news for the bubble teams, but I kinda felt bad for the Bruins. It's one thing to lose if you're outplayed or the game was played evenly, but really they dominated Oregon through the first 37 minutes.

Gonzaga is based on reputation, no doubts here. Southern Illinois and Butler will *probably* get in.

I'm not sure, they may be able to get in just by making the finals. I don't feel they're in yet though...they definitely need one more win IMHO.

Tech was making three's big time, that's for sure. Also Knight was having the guys run the floor in an up tempo style. I think it threw Texas off.

Tech was playing over their heads and the Horns were sloppy. I was more shocked by the Badgers losing to be honest.

More big upsets today...Texas, Maryland, Wisconson, and a few others go down.

Yeah, I was thinking they were a powerhouse. I guess we'll find out how good we really are by playing them.

UCLA has treated every coach since Wooden like garbage. The expectations are unreal in Westwood.

I feel sorry for them, playing for 3 hours in the hottest part of the summer. At least the guys only START in the summer...their whole season isn't in the meat of it.

Well at least Tech will only be in the NIT this year.

It kinda worries me for the reasons that were mentioned. I'm not certain Denton is a great travel destination for the acerage person, so the draw from away fans(other than WKU who I hear travel well) would be next to nothing. JJ needs to turn the ship around so we can at least MAKE the tournament. If we're the host and we don't get in we'll have egg on our face. I must say, I do plan on flying in and attending the tourney if I can afford it in two years.

Underrated post

Wow, it'd be wierd for TAMS to leave campus. A few highschool classmates of mine actually got into TAMS back in the day. I've always associated it with NT. Hopefully they can find the money.
