    That rule change was announced last year during the playoffs. No conspiracy theory is applicable.

    I was happy as heck too(though I mostly was watching the Stanley Cup playoffs). I think the Lakers have too much for the Timberwolves, but I always thought Minnesota would play well. I never bought that Minnesota had NO chance. Lakers in six. Hopefully the Spurs beat them next round.

    More than that...it's Mother's Day weekend. Nearly everyone celebrates that one.

    Murray State has been in the tourney before. It's not a bad school by any stretch. I doubt the Toppers will be down for too long, they have alot of tradition there.

    Good stuff. We have more tradition in Gold than any other sport, by far. A conference title in anything is terrific for the school IMHO.

    I think the Lakers will have a tough series. The Timberwolves are tough at home and they split this season.

    Can't say I ever "liked" him...but I sure as hell respected him. I'm sorry to see him put up the sneakers.

    It's almost shocking he turned it down the first time.

    Roy was in a win/win situation. He couldn't go wrong with either place. Still people in Kansas are ready to jump off a cliff.

    I think we're bringing in a shooter in the recruiting class. However finding players who can hit from the perimeter will be a big problem more than likely.
