Kidd is your favorite player? He is a great one, but I've always been kinda nuetral on him. I think it dates back to when he was at California in college. I'm wasn't a big PAC-10 guy(with the occassional exception) and I think that has kinda clouded my liking of him over the years.

They beat the Wings in four...they beat the Stars in six. Lucky? Perhaps, but that's a pretty damn good playoff resume. Do they suck? Are you kidding me?! They're a good team with a goalie playing out of his mind right now. This isn't the first time a hot goalie has carried a team deep into the playoffs, and it sure as hell won't be the last.

Ya know, it was the second time Shaq had fouled out. I hate to say Sportscenter and everyone else is wrong, but he fouled out of the NBA Finals the year they played the Pacers...I believe in Game 4. BTW on Shaq. A great player? Yes...he really is one. I think only people blinded by their hatred of the Lakers can't admit to his greatness. Do I like him? Not in the least. I hope they get swept. So Spurs!

There are alot of guys who you could make a case for MVP I think. Did Dirk deserve more consideration? Probably, but so did some other guys IMHO. I think the Mavs will go down in 6 games to the Kings, but who knows.

Home court advantage in Game sevens is traditionally a huge advantage. I think the Mavericks should be able to hold on, but...

Time for the Mavs to panic.

If I remember ISU's football coach also had a scandal of sorts and he wasn't shown the door. So I guess I don't agree that Eustachy is getting canned because he's high profile.

True, if he was winning he'd be more likely to get a free pass on this.

I watched the game and I thought it was a good call. Heck it was almost a text book example of boarding(which was the call I believe). It was a stupid penalty to TAKE but he very much deserved it. Anaheim is shocking the hell out of me. I doubt they can win in the Western Finals, but I doubted they could beat Detroit and Dallas back to back. BTW, NJ looks great.

Portland has definitely made this a series, that is certain.

I didn't like the 35 second shot clock at first, but now I think I prefer it to the old 45 second one. It's a tough call though. The old clock definitely benefited Cinderella in the tourney, but I think the game moves at a better clip now. Maybe they should split the difference with a 40 second clock.

Most schools charge more for "big" games. It's pretty much standard.

Oh I disagree. The three point shot is probably the best addition to the game in my lifetime, with the possible exception of the shot clock.

I can see both changes happening easily. I don't think either would effect the game TOO much. That being said, I like the game as is.

No one swept a series in the first round. Heck the Mavs-Blazers might be the only series to end in five. Most look like they're gonna go six or seven.

Hey man, I hate the Lakers too...I'm just saying. Now I think Minnesota has a legitimate shot to win the series. I like the T-Wolves in Game 5 back home, so at the very least I think we're headed for Seven.
