    Trilli almost singlehandidly destroyed our program. We weren't world beaters or anything before he arrived, but we were at least 500 or so. Trilli might've been the worst coach we've ever had.

    Agreed. I'm not big on moral victories, but this was definitely one.

    I've had problems connecting to chat for months...not sure why. We are getting drilled right now. Not terribly surprising, but disappointing nonetheless.

    Yep, Hank sounded like he was having a ball. I believe the final was 100-66. I'm cautiously optimistic.

    The girls deserve major props for this accomplishment. I saw many of the ladies games back in my day. Hopefully the Daily will give them a big write up this week.

    Having a losing basketball program and no baseball program was significantly more important in us getting "passed over" than us losing OOC games.

    **Olympics trumps all every 4 years ** 1. College Basketball 2. College Football 3. Pro Baseball 4. Pro Hockey 5. Horseracing 6. Tennis 7. Pro Basketball I could list about 10 others. I keep my eyes on all sorts of "minor sports".

    You mean 1986 when we lost to the Mets? When it's your team, it ain't drivel The comeback gives me some hope, but something tells me we just can't win. Pedro rarely pitches well against NY. I expect him to be at his very best vs St. Louis. We have Lowe up in Game 4, so our rotation looks good on paper.

    Cardinals in seven. I just can't believe we'll actually win.

    Other than the first NT conference title...and the 2002 NO Bowl - I think this might be my all-time sports moment. Even if we lose the WS, it's been a special year. BUT, I want the World Series!

    Cautiously optimistic. Now I know we'll lose the WS if we get there. Their has to be some divine retribution if we really do this to the Yanks.

    Tied the series. In my heart of hearts, I still think we'll lose Game 7. But gosh, I'll be praying.
