    Of course - this was an advertisement for visitors. Alot of folks might get turned off to spend tourism bucks in a "college town". Not that I agree with what they did, just a point.

    I'm still convinced that if he doesn't catch on here...he'll play overseas for a few years.

    Great move potentially for the Mavericks.... I know Nellie didn't send him away, but isn't there a chance Kidd might be bitter towards Dallas? Would he really go back?

    It's only been 2 rounds since '89? Man I coulda sworn it changed it in mid 90's! I knew there were more rounds when I was a kid, but I didn't realize it was THAT long ago.

    With only 2 rounds he probably won't be drafted. I think he has a good chance to play in Europe or the NBDL though. BTW, the draft only being 2 rounds is a crock. When I was a kid their used to be like 6...and their were fewer teams back then.

    I remember that game pretty well. They laid the wood on us even worse when we traveled to Stillwater though.

    Ditto on JJ. It'd be nice to be competitive with Indiana in the Colesium next season. I'd hate to be embarrassed at home. Hopefully we can bring in more tradition rich schools like the Hoosiers in the future.

    Good props. Coach Slinker had some excellent young players last year too. We have the potential of being *really* good in another year or two.

    Like I had any effect on the outcome. I'm also rooting for Rice.

    Yeah, they had a *great* squad last season...but historically it's a good school.

    I loved it. Now I'm pulling for Cal State Fullerton to beat Stanford(I know someone who's going to grad school at Fullerton).

    Wow, St Bonaventure huh? Not a bad school at all. They occasionally make noise come March.

    Hey what about Duncan last night? That stat line was unreal!

    It turned out to be a pretty good series. I thought the last two games were by far the best played.

    That's very true. I can't really remember the last time we had interior post presence.

    The Nets shot close to 60%?! When was that? I seem to remember them not being able to hit the broad side of a barn either. The series has featured lousy offense more than great 'D'. Neither team seems to be willing to take(or make) open jump shots.

    Sounds like a solid pickup. I'd like some size down low though.

    What can you say about Steve Kerr? I really think he deserves more playing time. He's a nice boost off the bench everytime he comes in. I'd play him 7-10 minutes a game...not 4 or less.

    Sounds like a good prospect. Even though last season was dosappointing, I really like all the talent we had. Slinker seems to be bringing in some nice additions as well. We're gonna be tough in a year or two.

    I thought last night's game was maybe the best of the series. The Spurs played very well and held off a game Nets squad. NJ is up against it now - I doubt they can win 2 in San Antonio.

    If I still lived in the area, they'd be higher priority than football tickets. Hell I'm even contemplating flying back *just* for Indiana next season.
