Wrong again....Dickey won a title by his 5th season. Hell as pathetic is it was we almost had a share of the Big West title his 1st year at 3-8. And we would've won the tiebreaker, and probably gone bowling! Jones has already been here since 2001-2002(so 5 full seasons) without sniffing anything.

No, slightly different situation. At least Dickey has won something. Four conference titles in the Sunbelt may not seem like much, but it's something(plus the one NOB win). Jones hasn't won anything. Not even a division title. We haven't even made the finals of the conference tournament once.

Terrific. When you cancel your GMC memberships, you're abandoning our other sports like soccer, track, basketball, etc. Go ahead and don't buy FB season tickets. If anything, lets say there are around 800 GMC members give or take. If they all reneew their memberships but 600 refuse to buy season tickets for football that would send just as clear a message than quitting altogether. And you'll still be helping out.... Please don't do that to the other sports.

JJ needs to win 20 games and make the final of the SB conference tournament, or he needs to go(provided we don't have tons of injuries or something). Prferably we'll goto the NCAA or NIT to top the year off.

I'll go further...it's cost us for about 10 seasons! I don't think we've been able to hit free throws since Jankovich. It's been awhile, but I seem to recall we shot pretty decently from the stripe then.

And we scored both goals extremely late. Huge win for the Ladies.

I'd bet almost anything the football stadium was not the main reason we were left out of CUSA. For one thing, football isn't the be all end all of conferense shakeups, otherwise why would a school like Marquette get a Big East invite? The fact that we weren't particularly competitive in any sport other than football in the SBC hurt us. As did SMU being in the DFW market. As did no baseball team. There are numerous factors that caused us to get squeezed. I do doubt we'll replace Fouts anytime soon though - I'll agree with you there.

I love how Troy always gets thrown around as a school that has passed us, since they have yet to win a conference title. The "only averaging 15K argument speaks volumes" gets old too, considering when I was a student in the late 90's we were lucky to get 15K for Homecoming. Hell last year we increased our attendance average with a 2-9 team. And it's possible we may increase it again this season.

Who says defensive wars are necessarily boring? Hell I think the best game I saw all year was LSU/Auburn and that was 7-3.

I think where ever you're from, you tend to think those natural disasters as "normal". Earthquakes, hurricanes...those can devastate regions...tornados maybe a housing development or small community. I don't look forward to the "Big one" out here...that's for damn sure.

Yeah, but Rutgers is in a BCS conference, which means the yelling will be far louder than from BSU which just hopes to make a BCS game of any sort.
