We're really laying the wood to Southern. There's still about 5 minutes to go, but this thing has been over for awhile. Impressive win by the squad, no doubt.

We played with'm for about 34 minutes. Their talent finally just wore us down. Great effort though.

I think the women are in for a world of hurt. Southern is a good test for the guys based on their game vs Arkansas LR.

Final was 92-85 after nearly blowing a huge lead. This could be a great learning experience for the guys...never take the foot off the pedal.

Anytime you win by 30+ it's a good outing.

I woulda thought this could go in college bas ketball. It was a really good game from the parts I watched. Hard to watch all of any game when their are are so many on. I get glimpses of about 15 instead. -
We played really well in the first half. The Frogs stepped up in the second. Free Throw shooting absolutely killed us. You can't win if you don't even make 50% from the line.

Wasn't able to listen to the game(finishing up dealing with the family) but was thrilled when I'd heard we won. Lamar pounded us last year lest we forget. I'm getting really, really good vibes about this season guys.

I'm gonna say 18 wins. I think we have the potential for many more though.

Great win for the program. The Seahawks have been a consistent tournament team(whether the NCAA or NIT) for several years now.

Any given day...especially in baskteball. All you need is 1 or 2 guys to get a hot hand and suddenly an underdog has a real shot.

Trilli almost singlehandidly destroyed our program. We weren't world beaters or anything before he arrived, but we were at least 500 or so. Trilli might've been the worst coach we've ever had.

Agreed. I'm not big on moral victories, but this was definitely one.

I've had problems connecting to chat for months...not sure why. We are getting drilled right now. Not terribly surprising, but disappointing nonetheless.

Yep, Hank sounded like he was having a ball. I believe the final was 100-66. I'm cautiously optimistic.

The girls deserve major props for this accomplishment. I saw many of the ladies games back in my day. Hopefully the Daily will give them a big write up this week.

As am I. Realistically, we'll probably be slightly better than last year. Of course I want a 20(or more) win season.
