This has been an abomination. Nothing good at all can be taken from this one. And as most people know I'm quite supportive of Dickey. I said years ago(like '96 or '97) that if we ever made a bowl I'd support that coach till he left. Well, I'm not going to call for Dickey leaving, but that's as much support as I can give him now. I won't defend him anymore. Hey, congrats goto the Blue Raiders. It's truly a rivalry now.

Especially considering the last several years Texas's hoops teams have been great.

Yes because they would have immediately run the table. Troy beats us LAST year and did what exactly in conference. Same goes with FAU. We probably still would have won the league Plumm.

Since we won so many titles in the Big West, right? Hell we only won acouple of titles in the SOUTHLAND. In fact we routinely had losing seasons in that league.

If we win the league this year we can't really fire Coach Dickey. That would be five conference titles in 6 years. So if you want DD gone root against NT the remainder of the year. I am hoping we win conference. Just don't offer a contract extension. If we don't win the SBC then maybe it is time to change - maybe not. Conference titles and bowl games mean more than OOC games. You know I've met people out here that actually say "Hey didn't you play in a Bowl game?" I doubt folks wearing Troy stuff out here get ppl telling them nice loss to Florida State. That said I would like OOC wins, and it's getting beyond frustrating. Until the end of the season I'm not willing to say Dickey should be gone or that he should stay.

Special teams and defense have really let us down. Usually they are what we can hang our hat on.
