NT 25 ------- ECU 22 3:11 to go Defense seems to be frustrating them now and we've put our nose in front.

ECU 19 ------- NT 14 7:29 to go We need to initiate one of our 5-6 minute stretches where we don't give up anything. They've carved us up as well as any league opponent has done in awhile.

ECU 16 ------- NT 10 10:56 to go Giving up some transition chances. When we can't set our defense it's much easier to beat us.

Pretty much what I would have anticipated.

There were OSU fans in 2007 than there were Tech fans in 2010. I was at both and remember them well. The crowd split for OSU was like 65/35 us. Against Tech is was more like 75/25. Plus there were more people total in 2010.

I have to say I am a bit surprised that's the record. I would have thought more than that for the Texas Tech game in 2010 for example. I came back for that game and I remember a ton of students were there.

Well, should we lose one or both, certainly you'd say it was because we didn't play our game. 😉 We have the ability to win both (and I think we have a decent shot to), but road games in league play are never easy. I would be quite surprised if we won both by double figures, I can tell you that.

I have to disagree with you on that.

Every team has a game or two where they shoot free throws poorly. For the season we're shooting 75%

We're #42 in the nation out of 362 schools. That's pretty damn good!

I think it is possible. I still believe Memphis or FAU are the favorites, but we're gonna be right there.

The 18-10 season is when we beat Purdue in the NCAA tournament - arguably the most marquee win in program history. What was the 11-0 cupcake run we had in the 31-7 run? Most of our 15 game win streak was against conference teams. It's not like we were playing Shreveport. We SHOULD be selling way more tickets than we are, it's just a fact. Even my wife, who isn't a NT alum and has never been to a game in Denton considering we live in California couldn't believe how few people were in the stands on TV today. For that matter when we went to the NIT Final last season, she was astonished how few of us were there too.
