This team has a lot of potential, but it's still too early to say with any confidence what kind of team we're gonna have come February. Still, it's nice to win a second game like that this season against a power league type school.

Agreed. I'm pretty curious to see how Wichita State does against a common opponent. (Obviously the NFL can't know how good the teams will be when they release the schedule, but none of them looks like they'll be that great) -
Temple beats UMass.

The script has never been particularly popular amongst the fanbase writ large, but we do seem to win more often than not in it. We started using it in 2001 and won four conference titles. The year we quit ('05) took a nosedive that lasted about six years.

It's sad that a we have to do that sort of promotion for a team that's not even five years removed from making the Elite 8, but I can't say I disagree with it.

The Beavers off a tough loss against their cross state rival come calling. Hopefully we can get a good crowd, but the week of Thanksgiving...I have doubts.

Exactly. If we have a season where we challenge and/or win the regular season title, we're not gonna remember this game.
