    Playing defensive tackle is not just about being the heaviest defensive lineman. Yes, there is an optimum size; but its not necessarily just about being big. I suspect that, as Harry said, Coach Nelson is trying to get quicker at the tackle postion by moving Gilmore inside.

    Here is my question: there are several hundred thousand UNT alum, who unfortunatley, don't care about UNT or UNT football. Why the love-fest for bashing on Junior Miller? Should threads be started identifying and criticizing all the other alums who support OU or UT? Newsflash: he's a rabid OU fan; lets move on.

    I think it should be re-opened; but with some kind of swear jar type arrangement. Mentioning a banned topic will result in a ban; which can only be lifted after a donation to the Andrew Smith scholarship fund.

    I think the last time UNT went to La for a recruit it was a defensive tackle. I don't think it was Ike Thomas; but another DT who was a HS wrestler....struggling to remember a name....

    Maybe he is just a 20 year old who would like to see travel. With the way that colleges pander to recruits; who wouldn't want to take recruiting trips.
