    I was moderatley amused, as the plan embraced both concepts that I loathe: talk of the WAC, and Division II. I found it interesting that he was able to combine both into a master plan to kill of the program.

    If I remember right, Larry Allen went to a very small college, div II I think. So BCS coaches didn't think much of him (except for Jimmy Johnson).

    Jeff Meunchow and some others might disagree. The tight end was consistenlty one of Hall's favorite targets.

    At first I wasn't impressed by the TAMU hiring; but then I realized that their secondary was rated #117 against the pass last year.....and realized that this could be a significant pick-up.

    I suspect that it was UNT that had a tryout. NTSU hasn't held a tryout in years.
