  1. So you want him to stop posting at all, huh?
  2. I would have figured your preference would have been Mean Green Baseball.
  3. I will feel more comfortable when things are back to the way they are supposed to be: UNT beating MTSU every year. It just seems to be one of the things that keeps the universe in balance.
  4. I am no basketball expert, but I believe the big man is like the defensive tackle in football. There are usually only 3 or 4 good ones every year. So every one else has to fight over the remaining big men. If we can get one of those big men, then that would be great.
  5. Yeah, Phil Knight bought and paid for most of their (OSU) athletic facilities.
  6. I think the O-lineman are some of the best physical specimens that we have ever had on the roster. I think the knock on them is their experience, individually and as a unit.
  7. He had 4 years to practice that skill.
  8. Its up, but not ready. There's a reference to the best receiving corps of the Darrel Dickey era. All the links to the Off and Def previews go to MTSU 2006 previews. Hopefully they will finish this preview soon.
  9. Excellent point Stebo. And your point doesn't just apply to those folks who graduated in the Hayden Fry era. I graduated in 2000, and suffered through some of the worst football during my tenure in Kerr Hall. I remember one Big West game (against Idaho I believe) that was played in an absolute monsoon. We eventually went down to the bowl, and started sing the aluminum walkways as a Slip-N-Slide. There were so few folks at that game that when we yelled at the opposing players (while in the red zone), that they turned around and looked at us....as it was that deserted. The ole Sunbelt has helped bring us a long way. It will be up to us (students, alumni, and university) to UNT football the next step. (Because I couldn't find the clip of Booger single handedly destroying Baylor).
  10. That speed is average when linebackers and ends run a 4.5, defensive backs run in the 4.3s and low 4s. Fortunately for him, he runs excellent routes, and is a tireless worker....which will help him a lot.
  11. And not a full mouth of teeth amongst all of them.
  12. Using that logic: Why were so many Notre Dame players drafter (especially defensive players)? That was a team that got lit up and exposed. Why weren't any TAMU players drafted? They beat UT, that should make the whole team draftable by this logic. Because team success at the collegiate level doesn't translate necessarily into what the NFL is looking for. And occasionally the NFL doesn't get it right; check with Tony Romo and Dominic Rhodes on that one.
  13. ...That's what she said...
  14. Everyone might want to tap the brakes a little on Vizza. I can't remember the last time a true freshman had any success transitioning from HS to college. I am not declaring him a bust; I just don't think the he will be ready for the 2007 campaign.
  15. I don't care what in the hell it looks like..as long as it looks good on Bourbon Street.
  16. You could add up the attendance from the last 7 spring games and it might not equal that.
  17. Mack even honored the scholarship to the kid from Texarkana that was indicted on rape charges.
  18. I sure hope someone is taking notes....and at least unlocks the bathrooms this year.
  19. Isn't that what Soundman did last summer (or maybe the year before that)?
  20. That's a serious travel budget for a college kid.
  21. I wonder if this will end the practice of having starters play on special teams (ie Patrick Cobbs).
  22. Ironic, since he was supposed to be a bit small; and a step slow.
  23. At first I thought it said," running for their lives at halftime." And that still made perfect sense.
  24. One Leg Two Legs (I thought it was the 'swivel hips' that mattered most)
  25. I would think he woudl be open to any venue that touches the fan base. And it has been proven that GMG does that.
