I heard that one of the Hampton players pulled a 'Latrell Sprewell' last night by flipping off the Pit Crew and telling them to...well...she said what Latrell said the other night. Good thing Hank's courtside mics weren't turned up. For the record...I'm totally not kidding.

Thanks for the report, Jalie. Good to hear some of our boys are doing well. I'm gonna have to hit up one of these games. Where do they play, again?

Keyshawn...his attitude can totally suck sometimes and sometimes I think he doesn't try hard out of pissiness. When he came here...I really thought he was just going to lay down and collect his money...but he's proved me wrong. Time and time again, he's come through with the big play and hasn't been the 'me' player I thought he would be.

He was the guy that almost always had a sign that said something along the lines of "Marry Me, Jalie..."

Ahhhh, it all comes together. Coach Mitchell...the greatness of Jalie Mitchell. Oh, how I remember the hours I spent listening to Coach profess his love for you. Coach Slinker would be smart to bring you back as one of her assistants.

The Pit Crew is actively lobbying for change in this department. I expect changes in the near future.

I know it wasn't...I apologize if my response came off that way. I was just taking a shot at the situation. We were all a little stressed earlier today. We met with a few folks in the athletic dept. today including Hank. They are hitting campus with flyers tomorrow...we're gonna have some of our own as well. Things are better than they were this morning...but in all honesty...we're having to do this on a budget of $0. So I'm DAMN impressed with what we've been able to pull off just by making a few phone calls and pressing the flesh a little.

It's hard to promote when you have NO budget and apparently very little alumni support. It's a good thing we can all pull together to print up door hangers for the football team, though. <_< The Crew is working their broke asses off as we speak to get this done since so many things we thought were definite have fallen through. We have no promotion out yet because we're trying to get everything finalized this afternoon. Either way, we'll have flyers and signs on campus by tomorrow. A little late, I know...but we're confident that our methods will get people out to the game...and if not...well...sorry.

It's an incredibly bad thing. It means we're kinda screwed.

OK...we really need someone to step up. As a new student org...the Pit Crew has...well...no budget. We want to put together something huge for this Saturday. We have entertainment booked...but we have no food, no help, and no advertising. Greenbackers...are we still on for the food this Saturday? We're working on the advertising end of it and think we can get it all pulled off....though any help would be appreciated. Any other ideas...?

Yeah...I don't think we really got into Tubbs' head...but he was a really good sport about it all. A class act.
