The way I figure it...as long as you guys put in your money for the scholarship fund and stay the hell away from my beer...I don't see why not. Remember that one of the rules is: "You must be a member of this board". However, one post counts as "member". Exactly.

In the JetBlue Meltdown thread, someone asked about tricky airport approaches and specifically about the approach into Salt Lake City. I flew home from DFW last week and had to take the cockpit jumpseat to make it to SLC. We made the approach onto runway 34R from the east...it was cake. All of the arrival altitudes keep you way above the Wasatch Range until you're lined up on the localizer for the runway. It was actually damn pretty. I had to go through Aspen training this week. THAT is a scary approach. Our company videos showed an approach that we're not even authorized to do on a revenue flight...and I was freaked out just watching the video. Gonna jumpseat there sometime in the next month to see it first hand.

Honey...I work for an airline. Flying home is WICKED easy...especially when the flight deck jumpseat is an option. I was home last week. Likely home in a couple more.

I started training yesterday. Nothing but Subway, water, and jogging for now.

So let me get this straight... NT Basketball is going to the dance, season ticket sales are at an all time high, and The Daily is calling out the people who don't support NT Athletics.... *looks up to the sky*...Ahh, there's that asteroid. This should all be over any minute now...great to know you all.

Good stuff...really nice to see those guys pulling for us for once.

American Eagle is owned by AMR...and is their bastard step-child. If AMR names a stadium...it will be another of the American Airlines series of arenas/stadiums. And there's a reason we call them the Sky nAAzi's. Southwest Airlines, however, has been a completely untapped resource. We fit their mold. Underdog/bastard step-child making a turnaround and becoming extremely successful. And they'll sponsor just about anything football related.

Oh...I had to eat that nasty crow in NO, too. I know it's not pretty; tastes worse. But I'll put myself up for it again.

I just don't think it can happen. I've seen the coaching for the last few years and they always seem to have trouble winning the biggies. If JJ gets these guys to the tournament...I'll eat crow.

I came home for one last piece of Tomato pizza this week. It was...spectacular. You're right...nowhere else would I eat at a place like that...and I wonder if the amount of human urine that has seeped through the asphalt in the back parking lot would make it an environmental disaster zone...

After hearing story after story like this...I've decided not to give or buy tickets this year. I worked my budget and figured I could give at a lower lever if I could payment plan the whole thing...but not now. Not until whoever is running the show over there gets her stuff together.

Someone will jump on it just to televise TD's first game as a college head coach.
