This whole freakin thing makes no sense? Most of us have interacted with Dominique Green, and he has always been freindly and respectful? I've talked to him several times (including once at the bookstore last year with my son) and Dom was fantastic, even after a horrible loss. This just does not make sense to me? If he did scream an expletive at a coach, it had to be just venting his frustration from losing. Of course there is more to the story, but it needs to be delt with quickly and put behind us. 2+2=5 so far in this thing? Also, I hope the recruits who watched channel 8 news last night also see or hear the outcome of this issue. Impressions go a long way. To paraphrase a famous movie..."Think about it. Keep the Troy QB on his back. Blitz, blitz, blitz... They have one of the best offenses in college football, so make the QB rush his throws and decisions. The kids are talented, and do have a lot of skill. But, lets call a horse a horse. The defensive scheme is terrible. I dont know how much lapse is due to the move from the 3-4 to the 4-3, but we do know that we have one less speedy linebacker on the field. As for getting it together, these players are already together. They just need a better scheme. I know there are lots of opinions about Coach Mendoza, but a missed play or two in the games so far really made a difference. I believe in these kids, and will hope for improvement for the rest of the season. I'm on the bandwagon for next season anyway?, so as much as it hurts...let's see what Coach Dodge can do for the rest of this year. I know the D will give up some points, but it will be a blast watching Vizza get better each week. GMG!!!

We knew this year would be tough. I love TD's optimism, but 0-12 is a real possibility. So, we take it on the chin this year and know we will be better next season. I would like the team to find a way to win Homecoming, but I'm on the bandwagon no matter what happens. I just hate it that the seniors will go out like this? Still, there is light at the end of the tunnel. Hangin on til RV says throw in the towel. Since that wont be soon, we should all have faith. GMG!!!

That is no joke! Emmitt. Zeke and I went to the SLC game against the #1 high school team from Miami. Tomlin was all over the field. He had two sacks, who knows how many TFL's, and a fumble recoverred. That kid can just flat out get it.. Sucks to lose Wiggy if we do, but I agree we have the talent to fill that gap. Monroe and Robertson can both play middle and back up the Dozer. Anyone who has talked to Toby Nwigwe knows he is a good guy. I hope, regardless of what happens with football, he re-composes himself and gets his life in order. GMG!!!

Spam? Haha... we're talking about Darrell Dickey's offense at Utah State? The point is that we could be much worse off if he had still been here this year? I dont know about you guys, but I'll take 0-4 with a passing offense anyday over what those guys are getting in Utah? Wow? There were talks early in practices that Chatman may move to Safety? Not so much now... I wonder what the kid did to get that kind of sentence? I talked to D-Chat at the Union and he seems like a really good kid? We could certainly use all the talent on Defense we can muster, but Todd Dodge is a "rules" guy. As much as I dont want to question TD, you are right on the money here SouthBend. A QB rotation rarely works, and hasnt here for the obvious reasons? The fact is the OL has enough trouble protecting a guy who has a predictable release and playing style. They know if he has a tendancy to roll right, or hang on to the ball for an extra second, etc... Now we are asking an OL that is finally starting to know Danny Meager to, once again, play two types of protections and know when to do things different for each QB? Other than a few minutes at OU, they dont know that about Vizza? It takes game time. Now, every few series or so, a different QB comes in and the linemen dont know what he is going to do? Yes, there is practice... but it takes game experience for a QB and OL to gel. We have all already seen that? (Meager...Woody...Phillips...????) In some games last year ALL THREE played? It just does not work. I will, as always, back whoever is in there at QB. We have kept that promise to this team... but please TD, pick ONE GUY. If you think Vizza is the guy (which most of us agree needs to be the case now) then play him as the starter. You gave Meager his chance and he didnt have to look over his shoulder. Give Vizza the same chance to be THE GUY and not look over his shoulder. We are 0 and freakin 3, and have nothing to lose by making a change now? Most of us knew this would be a true rebuilding year anyway... Name your starter and stick with him. No rotations Coach...please, we have already been through that. Just give Vizza the knod if that's who fits this team better right now, and we'll be there for him, even if he struggles... WE WILL BE THERE. If Vizza finishes the season and isnt working out either, next year play a freshman and let's see how he does? (oh yeah, I found a way to work Riley in...) Jeesh????...apologies for the rant. No negativity rolling around here about Riley? Only one post was negative and we pretty much stomped that? (I still dont know who the "Fake Lonnie Finch" is?) Most on this board already have his autograph and have penciled him in as an All-American in 2009. Yep, I'm one of those. He is a great kid and a fierce competitor. Any time you get a natural leader from a highly-successful program to commit to your team, you've already won. Havent seen much on this board to dispute that? We're on-board with Riley!!! GMG!!!

You have GOT TO BE KIDDING? The kid was the State 5-A PLAYER of the YEAR, and has a STATE TITLE, and you have questions about his ability to play QB at the Division-I level somewhere? I guess guys like Doug Flutie and Senaca Wallace show how tough it is for shorter guys to play in college... Let's not take into account that this kid has faced the best defenses at his level, played hurt, sick, and came back into games to win them? Nope, no character or skill needed there? Let's just be real for a moment... There is NO WAY a kid with Riley's talent sits on the sidelines in ANY college program? Riley would have to play another position with some programs, sure... but he would certainly be on the field. Most Division-I programs would kill to get him as a QB, just not a program like UT. As for coming to North Texas... I'll take a kid with that kind of heart over most of the larger QB's out there? Jeesh.... GMG!!!

Jeesh man??? I'm no doctor, but that sounds freakin bad? It was cool watching AA get into the Dallas game and play against Flozell Adams. The Giants switched him and put him against Columbo in the second half, but seeing Awasom on the field was greatness. I have a tough time backing any NFC East team other than Dallas, but I had hoped this would be AA's big break with NY.... This really sucks. Here's hoping for a clean recovery, and maybe the chance to play again in the future. If not, he would make a very good DL coach somewhere in college. Hang in there Adrian!!! GMG!!!

Mack Brown has already suspended him for ONE game (should have been more), and the nut job gets arrested again? NO drug is worth losing a scholarship at UT? Well, maybe he knows he wont lose the free ride in Austin? If it comes down to Mack Brown's call, I guess he'll get two games off this time. You gotta love it... GMG!!!
