I hope Chandler stays and I am not so sure that he wants to transfer. He was lighting it up here for 1/2 the season before things really cooled off. The late season drop will probably prevent him get an offer from a big power school with an offense that he could flourish in. Morris is also only 6', when the average college QB is 6'2" and many are over 6'4 He also seems like a guy that wants to start and would not want to end up in a Chandler Rogers position at a place like Cal.

Not impressed. This is not the same team that started 5-1, even though the D was good today (it's Temple after all). Game was a snooze fest.

I like the aggressiveness in general. But, you have to punt the ball on 4th and 7 from your 40.

Defense just can't stop a decent offense. Until we get an average defense (with some size ?), we won't be beating the better teams.

Great 3 quarters against a good team at home. May need to score 52 to win this though.

Just a killer dropped pass on 3rd down. Would have at least allowed us to run out the clock if not score.

The ego at UT is so big, they don't care at all about any other school in Texas.

Just watching the games so far, Chandler Morris is the most talented QB I have ever seen at UNT. His release, accuracy and mobility put him ahead of all others. The only question left is how he will perform in big games and can he stay healthy. That is something that has been lacking here for many years (big game performance, not health).

Only Memphis is worthy of a conference upgrade IMO (maybe South Florida). Tulane has little historical success, other than the last 2 FB seasons. The UTSA Frank Harris's were good for the 5 years he was there.

Getting a bit sloppy on offense at the end. But, the kids seem to be having a good time.

To be fair, we are not going to win many time of possession games with our quick strike offense. This does put a little additional pressure on the D. Outside of the 46yd TD pass, the defense has done a good job of not giving up big plays. Sure, they could be better.

Morris is a pretty special QB.

Funny thing about UTSA. What have they done successfully in FB or BB, other than when Frank Harris was QB ? They look pretty bad this year.

So, Morris hasn't even been to a bowl game and we have to deal with these rumors already ? I used to think it was difficult being a G5 school when it came to losing coaches to larger programs. Now, it's not only coaches but players every year. We can't have anything good anymore. I don't know why I torture myself like this every year. Next we are going to lose our cheerleaders, then the cannon. I guess after that we can always construct a new cannon out of wood like UTSA.

4 turnovers to 1. And, they won the game by 15 points. This was the perfect game to make all those mistakes. I bet they play a much better game against Tech next week.

51-27 NT Defense still has a lot to prove.

Hot sports opinion. I don't think I have ever seen a QB at NT with as much poise and talent as Chandler Morris. If he can stay healthy all season.....OMG.
