UNT86's post in Morris MVP was marked as the answer
He wasn't pulled too early. He was not mobile enough for our offensive line at the time. Fine has the ability to move and create. Morris didn't.
By the time the bowl game came around, the line could better protect a pocket passer.
Our coaches did what gave the team the best chance to win...as they should.

UNT86's post in great insight to attendance woes in college football was marked as the answer
And at the same time, North Texas has increased attendance from 16956 (2008) to 21030 (2014).
That's a 24% increase while others are watching their attendance decrease.
Further, we have only had 1 winning season in that stretch.
RV has to get a lot of the credit. A 24% increase is substantial.

UNT86's post in DT Terell Brooks was marked as the answer
I know this young man.
I also know that the UNT coaches tried hard to talk him out of walking away.
Even his own mother tried to get him to stay.
He would not listen to anyone.
Trust me, he isn't a great loss.
I doubt he wil EVER graduate. I hope he will, but I doubt it.
He would only have counted against our academics and would NEVER have been the kind of kid you could count on.
HIs maturity level is not completely his fault.
He has a rough family situation, but you can see from his comments that he sometimes does not use very good judgement.
He also does not often listen to those trying to point him in the right direction.
We are better off without him.
Don't sweat it.
