GrandGreen, just out of curiosity and not being critical, but were you at the game yesterday?

Not a surprise. We have moved on. He can too.

Don't agree. The coaching is not the issue. Great game plan had us up on a superior team for three quarters. She totally turned over the roster this year. It will be fine. She is suffering from the same fate the men did last year. We only had 8 players available last night. Three starters are out for the season with surgery. Three more with outstanding talent are redshirt transfers. One more was dismissed from the team. We only have one senior and she can be replaced. Lots of freshmen getting playing time and improving. It is the senior that isn't getting any better (although she played better last night). This time next year we will be in the hunt for the conference title.

Last year Tatum Henderson played basketball and ran track.
-
Madi Townley also scored 8. It is huge for this team when she will take shots. She took 8 and made 4. Anybody that shoots 50% from the field can contribute.

I would guess you have to empty your bench at some point for it to be a blowout. We kept our regulars in the game the entire time. But yes, a twenty point win is a butt whipping.
-
As you should. I would rather take my chances with someone who is unselfish.
-
Charlene has the talent. I think it is about attitude. After the loss to SM, she and Anisha were laughing. After the win yesterday, she was clearly pissed. What comes first for her?
-
I am 100% confident that we contend for the conference title next year.
-
They kept fighting. Coach Mitchell is working hard. Totally different game plan from Thursday and the girls executed. Nobody panicked at the end. Mims played great defense and Townley actually took some shots. The freshmen on this team are growing up.
-
When he didn't show up on the sideline as the season progressed, it was telling. Glad we had him, but I think the Mean Green have moved on. Hope someone signs him to a FA contract. Also hope his knee is recovered enough to have a shot.
-
If you meant Trena, she is a turnover machine. A year from now she won't play much. She still plays hard as and cares, but she has gone backward this year.
-
I think this team has some attitude issues. After the game, Charlene and Anisha were laughing it up. We had 9 players tonight. I think 7 of them still care about the team. I think #11 and #42 are mailing it in. Townley will not shoot the ball. She also got pushed around tonight. She is a one trick pony. If she cannot rebound, she cannot help. Fortunately, our best players are freshmen.

Seems to me he is just down the depth chart. He played non-conference. He and Jackson will both be great for us. But for now, maturity matters.
-
I'm guessing that this site also was looking for the most out of date logo.?.

I think she got crossways with Coach Mitchell. She was in the stands for a couple of games after she disappeared from the bench. I wouldn't look for her to return.

TCU Busted For Paying Players For Work They Didn’t Do.

Wait, you are telling me that another former SWC school is still cheating? Shocking. -
This is one area I think we could do a much better job of advertising. When you go to La Tech, they are advertising guys that don't even play in the league anymore as if they are current. To my knowledge, we don't advertise any of our players in the NFL on game day.

Who is your all-time favorite NT basketball player?
UNT86 replied to 97and03's topic in Mean Green Basketball
Clara Campbell. Averaged 17.8 points per game and led us to our only NCAA tournament. Still our all time leader in blocked shots. Still holds the single season record for points. -
He makes the third NT player to make the Dolphins roster. He joins Abner Haynes and Patrick Cobbs. As a longtime Dolfan, I could not be more pleased.

I talked to a paramedic. He said he didn't know what it was, but he also said that they didn't take him to the hospital.

I think she may have finally found her pairings. Callie Owens started for the first time along with Charlene Shepherd. She only put one of the freshman guards on the floor at a time in the first half. I think Jackson played the first quarter and Boyd the second. Summer Jones has been coming off the bench late in games but has shown the ability to provide some offense. She started for the first time too. Her second group included Destinee McDowell and Anisha George to provide scoring. Madi Townley is starting to take a few more shots too. Trena Mims came off the bench but it was clear that she was taking the open 3's when she could. It was her best game and the first time she has looked like she did last year. Overall, it was the best they have played and I think Coach Mitchell may have figured out how to fit all the parts together.
