Less Uniform Talk?

I think the debate is actually if everyone on earth all farted at the same time, would it start an El Nino pattern, would the gasses affect the ozone layer, and would the introduction of all that warm air melt all the glaciers?

Kram, I admire your zeal, but you have to look at the situation a little closer. We're graduating our starting DTs and the guys we have returning are not going to get the kind of pressure we need. North Texas is not in a position to dictate when Wright makes a decision. We just have to wait and hope he picks us. I think if NT were to demand he sign within a certain timeframe, it would just make the choice a little easier for him, and it wouldn't be in our favor.

It's obvious that the Green team is too good for the White team. Green is already a part of our team's moniker, while the upstart White is only mentioned in our fight song. Let's not even get into the caliber of the players/coaching...

Wow! I missed the game, but I'm shocked that we blew out LSU on their floor! I was confidently hoping for a win, but I did not expect that kind of dominance. I'm surprised that Knox played 21 minutes with minimal contributions, yet the guys cruised. He must bring SOMETHING to the table that makes this team play better. It's not anything that is showing up on the stat sheet though. Anybody care to put it into words? Also, Holmen and Edwards played a combined 15 minutes with little to show. What happened there?

I like the idea of a duel threat QB. Gotta hope he's quick though... The speed of the game is much faster at the FBS level.

Folks, Johnathan Gray is considered by many to be one of the top 10 recruits in the country for the class of 2012. He's not coming to Denton as much as we wish he was. The guy can pretty much go wherever he wants. One step at a time. Lets just start winning games. Chances at guys like him will come when we're getting to BCS bowls.

We've certainly seen DMac's tutelage reflected in what coach Nelson was doing on our D-Line for the past 2 seasons. Quite frankly, many on here were perplexed at the moves coach Nelson was making... Maybe with DMac overseeing, coach Nelson will start getting better results out of the DLine?

Sounds like Holmen is finding the outside stroke? If so, then maybe he will start contributing more.

He is different from the other 30,000+ students who commit the douchery you are claiming... Give him time. The Longhorns gear will fade to the back of the closet, and the green gear will multiply.

meangreen, I cant help but see your posts and be reminded of myself 10 years ago. Give it some time... Go to the games and cheer for your University, and by all means root for the Longhorns on TV as well. When we play Texas again, you will find that your allegiance has changed, I promise. It happened to me! If not, you might consider a transfer.

I'm going to say this position looks strong next year barring another catastrophic, injury-plagued year. Riley is the man and Thompson will be a very capable backup.

Couldn't agree more. However, DTackle is probably the most difficult position to fill (on either side of the ball). Quality DT's are just very hard to come by.

I agree with this wholeheartedly. I'm setting the bar at 4 wins next year. That will be 1 more win than what we got this year.

So how good is this FAU team? Are they on-par with WKY? Is this the team that may win the east and push UNT for the regular season championship? Looking at how they're playing in OOC, they appear to be the team to beat in the East. WKY is playing a brutal OOC schedule, so it's hard to get a good gague on them, but this FAU team is matching up well with teams that would be challenging for the SBC conf. championship if they were in our conference.

I think there is alot of confusion in this thread.

The video is obviously slanted towards Lincoln since they were interviewing Miles & Nash alot. Jordan was really nowhere to be found in the first half of these highlights. Then he was all over in the 2nd half. He looked good in the 2nd half. I'm excited to see him in Mean Green next year.
