  1. If you think that's bad, imagine how fans of ULM feel about that spot. You do realize this is from 1983 correct?
  2. Heck, if that's the case, why don't we just rename the WAC the "New Southwest Conference"? No need to go WACY!!!!
  3. I'm thinking the two are very much not related. The lack of advertising in Texas Monthly may have something to do with the University's priorities in advertising, but a float in a parade? C'mon... this is more along the lines of an Alumni Association thing. To blame the University for not having a stupid float in a parade is ridiculous.
  4. The Greatest! I'm not sure how channelsurfing is pirating though. I thought they were just tapping into public feeds and putting them on one site? Maybe this is my ignorance.
  5. What does it matter? The guys who play for SMU are living such rockstar, warlock, tiger-blood drinking lifestyles that they will be winning* no matter what sanctions are put on them. They just wont be winning any basketball games. #WINNING!* I wonder if they will allow kids to get out of their LOIs? Cunningham would look nice in Green. *winning = delusional.
  6. As opposed to not playing any more basketball? The NIT is still postseason basketball, even if it's a consolation bracket. If we get invited, which is probably a longshot, then we should absolutely go!
  7. I already miss these guys:
  8. Uh KRAM, we already have a different thread for that! Gold
  9. Please at least post that glorious picture if the outcome is in our favor!
  10. Fortunately, UALR will also have to win 4 straight to get to the dance. The only problem is that UNT is better than the other 3 teams they have beaten. Unfortunately, UNT will probably lose.
  11. There you have it folks. Lifer has spoken (as has H-towngreen). Last I checked, Hell is supposed to be very hot and snowballs tend to melt when encountering heat, meaning that UNT will not win tonight. Any other guesses out there? Not that your guess would be better than Lifer's.
  12. Does the University of North Texas even have a CHANCE at winning the Sun Belt Conference tournament? I mean, Bozeman is playing out of his mind, and UALR is practically playing at home. I need to hear the opinion of a level-headed fan who is very good at prognosticating the outcomes of UNT basketball games. Lifer, what say you?
  13. Understandable, but there is one glaring difference between UNT and Tt right now and his name is Tony Mitchell. I think it would take an offer from LSU to pull Johnny away from UNT right now.
  14. MeanGreenTexan: <raises hand with head held low in shame> Guilty.
  15. This thread is missing a contribution from a very important, albeit very negative-outlooked, poster. You know who you are sir. Please post in this thread before we are jinxed.
  16. Oh... yes.
  17. 03:30 PM BASKETBALL NCAAW Florida International vs. Arkansas-Little Rock Uh... No.
  18. This is a tough one. MT is clearly the better team, so I would rather not play them, but UALR would bring a ton of fans to the final. I'll take my chances with the crowd. Go UALR! I think either way, the winner of UNT/WKU is going to represent the SBC in the tourney.
  19. Does it worry anyone else that a guy who is signed to play D-1 ball playing on a 2A team cannot put his cowboy/honkey teammates on his back and run the table in the playoffs? He should be putting up monster numbers despite double or even triple teams. All that said, I cant wait to see Forrest grow as a player under Johnnys tutelege.
  20. Any time I see a Laker, or Knicks home game on TV, it looks like the fans are sitting in complete darkness while the floor is lit up. I think the lights over the seating are not supposed to be cranked up at all times. I don't think Staples or MSG are doing it wrong...
