  1. So, what happened there? Cristobal spent too much time interviewing for a new job? Both F*U teams (yeah, I borrowed that line from the "Bottom Ten" column; so what) decided to go south at the same time?
  2. Well, hey. Get lucky real soon.
  3. Summer's Eve for Men?
  4. A Muenster Boy? Bring him to the Metzler's concession at Apogee. Bound to feel like a home away from home.
  5. Well, I'm a DT supporter, but I'd love to see that happen. You know, guys who sign on to play for a team, well, they want to play. If nothing else, we need to get him some reps just for the sake of depth at QB.
  6. I hope he wreaks havoc during this afternoon's crossborder incursion (into Tennessee).
  7. Way or wave?
  8. Heck, that's good enough!
  9. My only prediction: we will win. There is no way Mac won't have this team ready for next Saturday. We will play all 4 quarters of the MTSU game, with solid performances on both sides of the ball and special teams.
  10. Yeah, Grogan actually beat out Oberkrom in his junior year. Grogan will be a big contributor at whatever college he attends.
  11. Just looked really good on the punt coverage unit, "he can't get away from Dunbar".
  12. They both either: loved to win, or: hated to lose. Do the math.
  13. It's so hard to overcome the indifference Cougar King instilled in me for this game. I wish both teams played each other every weekend in the fall.
  14. But, it worked. I was thinking today it was the right thing to do at that time of the game, when we needed to badly to prevent them scoring a td.
  15. The only comments I heard from those around me, including a guy who said he was a professor, was to the effect of, "If you're going to do that, go naked with "Hi Mom" painted across the cheeks. And no, that's not what we used to call "streaking". And even so, that never rose to the level of those caught doing it (yeah, I knew one woman who just happened to streak up to the Dean of Students) not being able to get good jobs.
  16. I was thinking the same thing earlier. Trying to show how it's done?
  17. Yes.
  18. Woo Hoo! We won a great game against a good team on national tv! I had a great time with wife and friends at the game. Those around us who left early, it's your own fault.
  19. Hey, we're mixing it up!
  20. More people know about Tuesday night football than know about George Zimmer. And does Mens' Wearhouse carry UNT gear?
  21. If people want to follow the debate, they can probably replay it off the PBS website. Just ask Big Bird.
  22. I just watched that 5 times. Love it!
  23. What I liked about Dunbar's debut was that he did everything they asked him to, and did it well. Even when he took a knee on that last kickoff return at the back of the endzone, after fielding the ball cleanly, it was Dunbar being smart, the way he's always been. All we needed was to start at the 20 and get the ball to within field goal range. That would have happened if the players on the field had exercised better discipline in getting to the line when Romo needed to spike the ball and stop the clock long enough to get one more play. Honestly, it was the first Cowboys football I had watched in a while, and not the entire game. Even so, there were several moments when I experienced what got me to stop watching Cowboys football after the Jimmy Johnson era; some guys just playing badly enough at times to result in a loss.
