Dear Sorry Piece of Crap that stole my Flag:

Hey, we've moved on from that, ok? -
I loved Riley's heart and his football smarts, but he never had close to the arm of Dajon. He'll make a good coaching career for himself.

+1. This is all good to remember. Players want to be in the game, and players' parents want their kid (even if the "kid" is 22) in the game. Can't blame them, and can't avoid the hurt feelings, especially at the QB position. I will say that I seem to remember Mac, Chico, or both saying this year that the evaluation at QB would continue through the first few games. That seems to have been prescient.

I was wondering who the folks were with the yellow shirts in the wing zone. Then I looked at the event staff and didn't want to think about it any more.

Hanky-Panky? -
I appreciate the compliment. And, by the way, your beard is even more impressive in person.

Pretty much my opinion. I am 67 years old, so was wondering if it was that I was old, but there weren't any students to speak of on the student after half. Is this what we get for being televised more?

Heck, I'm just glad we have a quarterback that can put points on the side of the board that says "UNT". My career in Geographical Information Systems is, nowadays, based around the review and approval of names, so I can see the importance of the general subject. I would say that Dajon Williams is a fine name, and will serve him well; also that I appreciate the pronunciation guide for the roster, so I can know it's "Day-Jon". That is all. -

If that's it, worst.....nickname.....ever. -
It's just crazy to talk about "sane" on a sports forum.

GreenBat, you've written a lot on here that's made sense to me, before reading this thread. -

Five things UNT fans should know about Nicholls

From the article, I'm thinking there's a 6th thing to know; they have 2 quarterbacks who can throw the ball. Read and learn. -
so, what in the article supports what you've written?

So, what ever happened to the Arkansas State Fans Forum? Just wondering what they had to say over there.

+1. My wife says you either wake up or you don't (she has 4 kids from a previous marriage; all grown and doing fine, thank you). I really suspect he woke up.

What if? What if? Some of this reminds me of one guy at work accusing another one of never finishing a project because of fear that it might be finished and not work.
-
Well, at least he and June Jones are putting health and personal issues first, which seems right. I mean, what would Dr. Phil have to say?
-
Sure, but even that can employ a little deception that we've been lacking.
-
That's a damn good point, especially since every second string quarterback is just one play away from being the starter. I'm not sure there's much point in keeping Dajon out there in the second half, if he's anything like what we expect, and would like to see the backups get some meaningful reps (both Greer and MiniMac, if healthy). Good points have been made about not burning Connor Means' redshirt, but what about Josh Cousins?
-
Well, coaches are to some extent managers, and managers can't not see the numbers.
-
So, this sounds like you prescribe a game plan to highlight the qualities an NFL scout might look for in a quarterback; game management, looking off receivers, hitting receivers in stride, using mobility more to extend the play than have gain yardage on the ground. If so, I like it; I really wouldn't want Dajon to run much.
-
Well, at least we have a chance.
