Should have given him the ball more at El Paso. -
MGB: UNT picks up JC offensive lineman
eulessismore replied to Brett Vito's topic in Mean Green Football
What this is telling me is that this coaching staff is leaving no stone unturned in scouting for talent. I mean, how may of us even know where the Siskiyous are (hint, Oregon mountains, not the Cascades, not the Coast Ranges), much less that there's a jc there. -
It won't happen. At least it doesn't happen in the time travel shows I watch. Maybe you could be nice to someone before they meet their fate, but prevent their untimely death? Too many unintended consequences.

MGB: Breaking news -- Goree finds new home
eulessismore replied to Brett Vito's topic in Mean Green Football
I heard Goree and Robinson were caught in a four way with a blow up doll and a robot lover. -
I was a bit surprised to see their uni featuring the unit patch of my old unit, the 82nd Airborne Division. Here's some explanation of that "paratrooper look" (as I left the Army, the 82nd was the only true "Airborne", i.e. "Paratrooper" Division remaining). Also, (and you have to read all the way to the bottom, as I know you always do), the explanation of the 82nd's "All American" nickname, which, by the way, dates from World War 1, when someone noticed that the 82nd Division had members from all states, at a time when almost all divisions drew their members from the same state: http://news.nike.com/news/army-82nd-airborne-division-football-uniform This article, from the Fayetteville Observer, has an awesome video imbedded, honoring the 82nd Airborne in World War 2: http://www.fayobserver.com/blogs/news/fort_bragg_report/west-point-to-don-all-american-uniforms-to-honor-nd/article_022c5786-bb0f-11e6-9ad6-074bd98d6251.html Another one, in case the above link doesn't work, includes a pretty good explanation of the "All American" nick, and a mention of our HOD bowl matchup: http://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/page/QTP_161205ArmyUniforms-/army-wear-world-war-ii-82nd-paratrooper-inspired-uniforms-navy And, by the way, Jeff Monken was wearing the version of the 82nd Unit Patch for dress uniforms, in red white and blue.

Grading First Year CFB Coaches 2016

We've probably been too kind to Bleacher Report, perhaps repaying a kindness, but they're really bad at what they do. -
MGB: Five thoughts on UNT's loss to UTEP

If you were in El Paso today, it was probably one of the worst days there since the one Marty Robbins sang about. -

Dewey beats Truman. -
I gave you 1 for giving me 1 for giving him 1. If more people did this on their work email, they could shut the internet down.

I gave him one on your behalf, as a matter of honor.

Seth Littrell may be candidate for open Houston job
eulessismore replied to Harry's topic in Mean Green Football
A complete sentence is always good, but can't UT just come out with one for Strong. I mean, a grown man, especially a coach, can understand "you're fired".- 81 replies

Poll: Should the cheerleader have won the golf cart?
eulessismore replied to Harry's topic in Mean Green Football
I'm cool with it, because I don't have any place to keep the darn thing. If the cheerleaders got more tangible benefits from their work for the AD, maybe I could see a problem. Was the raffle very well publicized? I haven't been keeping up, so just wonder. -
Have we Halloween time traveled back to last years homecoming game? Will DMac be fired this coming Saturday?

Hey, the stand really impressed a lot of people around the area. I know of at least 1 guy, an A$M grad, who had never seen a UNT football game, somehow got comped tickets for the night, and marvelled about the greatness of it.
