    If we win big vs. Idaho, why not keep wearing the throwback jerseys at home for the season.?..perhaps we could catch lightning in a bottle by wearing them. A lot of schools have at least two uniform looks each season. Seems a waste to just wear the throwbacks one time.

    Here is a small tidbit that you might not know. When North Texas changed its name to the University of North Texas (cannot remember the year) Roy Orbison was a guest on the David Letterman show. Letterman asked him if he went to college and Roy proudly said 'Yes, I went to the University of North Texas.'....probably the first time the new name was heard on a national broadcast.

    No employee of North Texas should be allowed to wear gear from other universities. They live by virture of North Texas paychecks. I remember in the old days it was not uncommon to go get a concession at football and basketball games only to see the workers wearing SMU, Texas, etc. shirts. Shameful.

    The battle flag is currently flying at the union bldg., or at least it was before they began construction. Also, it is flying at the Willis library.

    If the split happens, I hope the non-power 5 market the hell out of the fact that the real college football is played here and the power 5 is no more than an NFL farm club.

    U of H in Texas Stadium in the mid 70's comes to mind. Also, the trouncing of Tulsa here in 1967 for the conference title.
