I give up...by the last home game this year the logo will be gone anyway. Why? Because it is painted. A touchup is all I am asking.

You've got this multimillion dollar stadium and the logo looks like Strickland Middle School art kids did it...that's all I'm saying.

I've been thinking that if we win the two games going into the Rice game we might just have a huge crowd. It's amazing how priorities can be shifted if you are winning.

Watched highlights of the MUTS game and was amazed how pitiful the C-USA logo looks. I understand that we got special dispensation from the conference to use it in black and white (since, apparently, those are our new school colors). It would be good to have the logo at least be as distinctive as the end zone art. I have a can of spray paint and could correct the problem in about 30 minutes.

Actually, those many people had a dream that Dunbar would have a career game and showed up...well, maybe.

I'm fascinated the depth of experience and knowledge by this board....I would be terrified to try to do the Green Brigade's business.

I agree that this game will set the tone for the rest of the season. If we lose, we will nose dive back to our old selves. If we win, I see us getting momentum back and being very dangerous in the conference race.

Good memory, Silver. Here is something that some might have missed. In the late 80's the wonderful NCAA let it be known that they were going to do away with the 1-AA football classification. So, if you wanted to continue with football you either went up in classification and requirements or you went down to division II. As it turns out this never happened, as the classification of 1-AA became FCS. Anyway, it was great for us because it caused the administration to make the decision to go up or down in classification. Since they did not want the wrath of the alumni base by going down to Div.2, they decided to expand the stadium and move back up in classification to meet the D1 standards. Had this not occurred we might still be in 1-AA pergatory, since Hurley and the boys seemed quite content to let us stay in the Southland, etc.
