    I think that luck plays a big part in 'the fit', once the new coach gets to Denton. Some will love Denton and the challenges here, while some (who thought UNT was their best option) might find that they just cannot hack it here. Hope the gods are on our side this time.

    Once again I reiterate that Hurley had nothing to do with the return to D-1 football. His only contribution was his decision not to go to D-2 football. At that time it was move up to D-1 or drop down to D-2, as the NCAA was going to dissolve D1-AA (which they did not do, as it turns out).

    Yep, no one over 50 need apply. Relating to college age kids is very important. Intercollegiate athletics is a young person's game.
