I am impresssed that TCU brought 24,000 fans to the game in the rain.

I cannot tell you how much I want to beat Arkansas. I was there in 1968 when the game was stolen from us and have never gotten over it...just like our 1988 game vs. Texas when the refs gave the game to Texas. GO MEAN GREEN..BEAT ARKANSAS.

I was at North Texas during the 'throw back' era...should be interesting to see what they think is 'throw back.' At that time there was precious little North Texas gear available, and what there was seems me to be very pedestrian.

The most telling event to come out of this Saturday's game will be the staying power of the North Texas fans. I was impressed and surprised by the vocabulary and correct spelling on the Arkansas board. They did, however, misspell Joe Greene and still think we are North Texas State. One of their posters is right...if Mean Joe and Steve Ramsey came back from past they could kill this current Arkansas team.

This game always worries me. There are certain teams on every college teams' schedule that always bite them. Even in the Joe Greene days we were 'snake bit' by Memphis State...just hope SMU does not become our 'snake bit' series.
