Did not realize it was in the SGA by laws. Seems odd to me that a vote can be overturned....recount, disputes, yes, but to overturn the vote through another election seems sorta weird to me. At least the Prez knows my thoughts on the subject. I don't think it is ever unwise to voice concerns to the President...it is part of her job to hear from donors.

Sorry, I was not very clear on one point. I sent the email to Dr.B referencing my concern over the student petition, not Vito's reporting. I probably should have put this info under the stuff about the referendum, not here. Administrator, please feel free to put this under the referendum discussion if you wish.

I sent an email to Dr.B voicing my concern...you might want to do the same. Just go to the University web site and go to administration and there is a link to Dr.B's office. I got an email back very quickly from an assistant who guaranteed me that Dr.B would see my email. Suggest that you put your date of graduation and reference any donations you have made to the school...member Mean Green Club, etc.

We are playing well right now, and if the three injured players from last night are only mildly banged up, I could see a nice run for us finishing out the season. We have a lot of depth and if they team is starting to smell blood in the water, they could roll through the tournament. Should we make it to the Big Dance again, what a compliment to Johnny and his staff and players. Time will tell, but I am optomistic ( maybe not as much as KRAM1).

It's not the attitude at Denver, it's the altitude. If we heat up, we can win that one, too, but by a small margin.

I think y'all have it all wrong. What Villareal means by quarterly is what the value of the information will be, if we ever have a meeting. That is about a quarter in today's money.

Just for the record, it's the "Taste of North Texas", not the "Taste of Denton". It was done that way intentionally to highlight North Texas, not Denton.

I'm anxiously awaiting the addition of women's beach volleyball. That just goes to show you what a big fan I am of most any sports.

As I haave posted so many times before, 'it's only basketball.' That is the prevailing attitude around NT and apparently other SunBelt schools.

Unbelievaable that they would hire someone from North Texas. Don't they know that all the geniuses are at least 500 miles away?

When Judy Buckles (Nelson) was women's basketball coach, she called my office to tell me that they had left their uniforms in Denton and played Southwest Texas that very night. We sent a grad student to San Marcos and got the uniforms to them just in time for the game.

Keith, you are exactly right. However, being ranked in some poll might be better than none at all....until we get good enough to do some damage to the 'biggies.'

North Texas is one of those venues that give coaches a few years for on the job training. Hell, Dickey was terrible his first few years. Hold your water and let's see what '09 brings. If it is a disaster, then let the poor guy go back to high school.

Just what we need--Obama and the Feds sticking their nose in this situation. I think Obama will have plenty to keep him busy without getting involved in this issue.
