  1. Apparently it will take decades to cleanse the NCAA bloodstream of the corrusion known as Mustang Mania.
  2. Poorly written article.
  3. Let's face it, it's a shipwreck in the middle of the 94 feet of heat.
  4. I'm sure that FIU enjoyed the 'prevent offense' that we employed late in the game.
  5. Tell your head coach to tell the players that they are on a business trip to win a bowl game. Our coach back then approached the bowl as just a nice reward for a good season and there were far too many distractions prior to the game. That is why we only won one of the games, in my opinion. Fun after the game is the best policy.
  6. New sponsors will appear...Viagra, Playboy, KY lubricants, etc.
  7. Caption suggestion. "I can't wait to get this game over and get to FIU."
  8. Diet Coke boy, for sure. d
  9. I predict a Mean Green victory if Dickey comes back to town. It takes Dickey about four years to put a program in place and then about two to destroy it.
  10. Stephens said 94 feet of heat...she did not say who was taking the heat.
  11. Greene, not Green.
  12. The absurdity never ends. How about the finals of the drumline competition? Can preseason favorite North Texas keep its title while being pushed hard by the Hoosiers of Indiana, who are preseason number five? The winner of this week's competition gets an automatic BCS bid and will appear at the Rose Bowl, etc.
  13. You just have to think that Vito (or is it Veto ) is salivating over this situation.
  14. The loss to powerhouse Samford was also impressive.
  15. It's not just Dodge or the record that the competitors use to recruit against us. How about a lousy fan base that does not donate money, or how about the lack of support from the City of Denton? Also, there is the perpetual music school myth that they throw up to kids. Many of those barriers are falling due to i.e., the new stadium, major reseach institution, the law school, etc.
  16. With all the anxiety and heartbreak of this season, I ask all of you who have not watched the video of the groundbreaking ceremony on Mean Green Premium (free) to please watch it. It sums up all the good things that this athletic administration has done relative to the stadium and the future of the program. I think you will be moved by what you see. For those of you who were there, I am sure that you will second my emotion that we are on the cusp of some really great things at North Texas. We all have some petty complaints here and there, but this is a huge accomplishment for the university and my hat is off to Rick and the students and administrators who have had the vision to put us in this position.
  17. I'm not saying KRAM1 is old, but he has his messages for the board translated into modern English from the original middle English that he first transcribes.
  18. Sadly, the player who was supposed to save his dad's job may just acelerate his dad's demise...who knows.
  19. FloMoGrad is exactly right...KRAM is the point person for the t-shirts. PM him and I am sure he will fix you up. As the designer of the shirt, I am glad to see your involvement with the university and glad to have done a small part in the production art for the shirts.
  20. Sorry, I read the post too quickly and did not catch the joke. MY mistake.
  21. Good play calling is an art form...kinda like good spelling.
  22. All of the above.
  23. FIU website lists the game at 7pm eastern time....that is 6pm our time.
  24. Promotion has the root word motion in it....ain't a whole hell of lot of motion coming out of the athletic department these days.
  25. Bataille probably cares a little bit about football, but I can assure you she cares a great deal about the image of the university. She can be ruthless when she feels the need. Time will tell.
