Just wait, the NT Daily will now jump on board with the stadium for fear of being left behind. I can see them beginning to blast everyone for "waiting so long for such needed University improvements". Ha!

I'm really glad to see a boost in the players spirit and emotions after the vote was announced. I think this will tremendously boost their confidence as well. The students have shown they will support the team and have given them a huge gift to work with. This is the tradition and support that develops a tremendous "home field" advantage for the future. Here's to a huge "home field" advantage in a couple years. I'm betting we see it much sooner!! Thanks students, thanks Flyer!

There are over 100K UNT Alumni in the DFW area.

I'd love to see a Varsity equestrian team at UNT. We are in the middle of horse heaven with all the potential support needed to be very competitive......not that I'm rying to keep up with SMU. Its a pretty cool spectator sport too.

A nicely engraved corner stone on one of the endzone pillars would be nice! Or, the concrete or stone threshold the players cross going on to the field could give Flyer (and others) credit for the hard and persistent work. "You go here because others prepared the way before you" This is one of the biggest events in the history Atheltics and the University I can remember, and its 5:00 now and round 1 is over. Please PASS!

UNT_playmaker, I have to say I believe it would be great for you to get some fresh air. I'm pretty close to Dr. B and I can tell you, if she were willing to allow football at UNT drop to Div 2 I would be more than just a little shocked. She hates to lose and hated the last football games with a passion just like you and I. My distinct impression is she is playing a little "Jerry Jones" in the matter and is in the mix to change things. And I don't necessarily want to leave the impression it's her wish to change people...just change things for the better. I really, really like Dr. P but he was a little complacent and not the shaker and mover we needed to get to the next level. Dr. B will get us there. At least that's what I believe until proven looney! The sky is NOT falling, just our hearts with ever football game like the previous 5!!
