I think the WKY win was as much of a confidence builder for the Dodge staff as it was for the players. Many of the coaches, minus DeLoach, are as green at college wins as the younger players on the team. Confidence for both the players and the coaches may just be what the Dr. ordered. Go Mean Green!!

I did (SMU/TT) and always will wear North Texas spirit wear when I attend Texas Tech games with my daughter. Of course, for her I will don a pin or two for TT. But, NT is the predominant the highest color! The cap must always be NT!

On another note, correct me if I'm wrong, but why is it that the drug testing got coverage like this but the stadium vote didn't seem to get near the publicity. I just didn't see near as much, if any, publicity from the vote. Disappointing!

Possibly because many/most on this board do NOT agree with your constant nonsense approach and Dodge-bashing. Go back to the SMut board (or wherever you came from) and spend your time bashing over there. I for one and really tired of it!

We don't have a "deal" with UA. They don't support us in any way other than providing purchased uniforms and a few shirts for the coaching staff. If you want to buy the minimums that the Athletic Department has to buy, you too can own one of anything you see, provided you have the right license and tax ID.

Another great point and good catch! Go Tony Cooper!! I don't know Tony but If I needed a foundation repair job done, he would be my first phone call!!. Does he promote and give back to the University, is he out tailgating and flying UNT/Mean Green/North Texas flags and the like? He may be, I just don't know!!

You are right, I certainly don't want to minimize their purchase of publicity in the stadium and the events that may be sponsored by businesses in Denton after we have to ask, [for their involvement]. That's usually a fair and equitable arragnement for both as well. However, I'm talking about spirited, rah, rah, green flag flying, game day, fan fare support. It is hard to see from Carrollton. Its also really hard to see community support until you get really close to the campus, and that is what the University has put together. You are so right, our community support is nothing like UT, TT, OSU, KSU, KU...and the list goes on, and on. I do realize we (UNT) have a role in stimulating community spport. We probably stumble over our own feet too!

Agreed, however, OSU is a home game for TT and BlowU (I like that ) seems to be able to intimidate TT in to a mental disadvantage. OSU beat TT last year by just 4 points, when TT had a poor defense. Home field, better TT defense, planning for Texas gave them good film from OSU to watch, Leach is a winner,...it just all stacks up to the needle pointing to TT in the battle with OSU. Just think, not that many years ago UNT beat TT, in Lubbock! What happended? Where did the two schools diverge enough to create the current day positions?? I think Dr. B. knows and is doing something about it.

Aside from Frenchy ( I love that guy) who in Denton really supports UNT football? Let's start keeping score. Maybe they (Denton businesses) will realize it is a good business decision to support the largest Denton employer and the largest boost to the customer base in town. Just think, Lubbock had literally millions of dollars flooded in to their economy this weekend because of a great game. Why can't Denton see the relationship?? What are we doing wrong? We seem to know what they are doing wrong.

I have a feeling Vito will trip on something different. i'm reading what I thought was a pretty good article about the game, and then vito drops the "15 test positive bomb" in the middle of a game report. Its a freaking game report!!!! Sorry who I may offend on this board, I don't like the man's style of journalism.!

TT will get by OSU just fine but OK may be a bit different. If they can get by OK then yep, I think they will win out!
