  1. I think I heard it would be at Pourhouse?? Anybody know better??
  2. With all due respect, these comments and wreckless postings will certainly help [sarcasm on] any of our undecided recruits that happen to read it prior to making a final decision this weekend. Thanks for the help! [sarcasm off] If any of our badly needed and valued recruits actually read this I hope they simply interpret it as it is; our true support and desire to see the football program develop in to what we all want it to be. It's our university! The alumni and fan base are working hard to do their part in advancing this football program so it will utimately increase the quality of higher education provided in these great United States. Recruits, we are behind you 100%!! Go Mean Green!
  3. http://shopmeangreen.com/product.sc?produc...p;categoryId=11 Look around here. You can't get better quality for the money.
  4. Is that all??? That's nothing. What's slowing this thing down. Do we not know or care what we are doing??? We must be just dumb hicks from Denton. I'm sure this is all TD, GB or RV's fault....../sarcasm off/ GO MEAN GREEN!!!!
  5. KRAM1 for President!!
  6. I do see this team getting better. One may need to define "better" first. More wins? More team effort? More discipline? Fewer blow out losses?????? Pick your own definition. If the weight room is well used in the off season, grades are kept up or raised, we support what is ours (coaches, athletic personnel, alumni and the entire MG nation) then YES, THIS TEAM WILL BE BETTER! Go Mean Green! Steve
  7. Hayden Fry to Iowa
  8. Lifer, if you didn't....you should have....... won the college debate competition at Harvard, UNT of the North East!
  9. This guy looks great! Notice he is the one with most of the seat on his jersey and the guy never gives up! I like his attitude too!
  10. Brett, with all/any due respect, if you get Smith on the phone please don't try to convince him not to come to UNT.
  11. So, what's the point of..."And in a final note...." part about getting torched by recruits UNT was interested in. My guess vito helped convince the recruit UAB was a better choice..... again...Grrrrr!
  12. Sounds like from reading the article Vito reminded Prior the "funk" that UNT is in. Sort of like, "Mr. Prior, are you sure you want to....." GRRR!! Is there a point to that???? Fire away!!! I can handle it!
  13. Can Vito make this sound just a little bit more negative. Personally, I wanted to quit reading about half the way through becuase all I could see was negativism. All in all, for what it's worth, took this hit, lost this, backed off, blah blah blah......
  14. This is a good point. I find it very dangerous to trust the politicians (mostly those who influence them) enough to think this is easy sailing when it gets to Austin. We have been tricked before!
  15. It takes a good ofense to consitently win against a good defense, in any sport! A balanced TEAM will win consitently.
  16. ...and let's see....that will be..thinking here? Maybe 2, 3 minutes in to the first quarter. Heck, just start 'em!
  17. SMUt seems to understand the complexities of channeling private money to the head coach's bank account.
  18. The "ship" has been "righted"!!
  19. Let's hope this is what the vote will mitigate, universities just passing increased fees without real student awareness. However, this is Texas and we are not UT or AtM. We should not rest until all poltical bases are covered. I still feel there is a political base to cover out there, and have no idea when it will appear.
  20. ...and Ball is an almost 18,000 enrollment university in Muncie Indiana!
  21. Eulessismore, I could be missing your point and if so, my apologoies. Unfortunately, the NCAA itself may not condon redistribution of wealth but when every conference, team and state uses football as a pawn for financial gain redistribution of wealth occurs can occur with every move. I believe a post earlier attempted to point out some Texas schools (UT and ATM*) have an enormously unfair financial advantage in Texas. A playoff system would probably not be created to redistribute wealth but at the end of the day it would be used in just that manner. Hence, many power house, financially and politically strong teams will not allow it to happen, at least when their final vote was cast. *I'm still trying to fully understand the "land grant college" thing. Jump out the though, emoticons can be fun
