I think Meager showed huge progress in skill, training and talent in racking up the yards passing against SMUTs. As I see it, the interceptions were really a factor of working closer to the edge trying to force something to happen in the late stage of the game. Sometimes you win those, sometimes you don't. Something like an empty net in hockey. Furthermore, talent is harder to find, Meager has that. He showed us that. What we need to work on now is the discipline and maturity required to decrease the errors=interceptions. THAT is something easier to work on. It may only take a couple games. I'm a DAN MAN! (but I am fickle !!

I just heard a presentation by Dr. B. and she said UNT had just a bit over 35K students this semester.

I also heard where the Daily decided to make a statement that the average SAT scores for admitted freshman at UNT dropped by something like 30 pts?? This was all before the offical national stats for SAT scores were published. The Daily apparently dreamed up the numbers, or used "fuzzy" math. So.....1+1=3 isn't all that bad Bad, and wrong press for UNT!!

I know I don't get out much, but did anybody ever hear more corporate sponsorship than what we heard at the SMUT game. Man, I tought I was watching one big late night infomercial. We need that kind of a revenue stream in our football funding. Where is Hank, Rick, (and should I even mention Paul) on getting that kind of money in??? Spelling -5 its SPONSOR (isn't it) heck I can't spell either!!

I hope you are wrong too!! Really wrong. All this excitement around the game, the attendance..tailgating...Mean Green village and you install a half-empty brand of enthusiasm Makes me crazy. Maybe it will fire a few people up! 1) We will have yards passing that do not reflect the UNT of old, may not be 600 plus 2) We will have better discipline with useless penalties (OK now I'm just trying to infuse some half-full logic) 3) We are at home 4) There will be close to 20K people there, but for some reason I think we will move to a level of tailgating where many people stay at the tailgating festivities instead of attend the game. 5) we CAN win if the defense is better!!!

My guess is, this one is for real. I have had the pleasure of getting to know this great lady over the past several months and she is a gem. She really wants to get to know about us enough, the heart beat of the "external" university, to spend time on the blog. Keep it up Dr. B. You have our attention and respect!!!

Came back, looked again, man I love these flags. Also saw the TM on all three branding logos so I assume these are licensed. Gotta give CLC their 8% so UNT gets their 4%!!! Thanks ShopMeanGreen this is good for UNT.

It was trick, but I did get it to work. Although, when I viewed the results I saw only 19 votes = 100% for UNT to win by less than 7 points. I voted UNT to win by over 17. I think Belo got scared and took it down. the "good ole boy" political network????

I have to admit, I'm one of those that HATES the fact I can't find green everywhere. I promise to "shut up" when we beat SMUt. I'm afraid to think what I may be willing to do for a win!! I was here in the Fry era, (I actually walked on with him as coach, what a gentleman) and have carried the rivalry he instilled in us forward to today. Many of you can also, but I can share some choice quotes a younger Haden Fry would have shared then. Remember this one, "I told them to take care of the school and I would take care of the team.
