I've had season tickets in the Letterman's section and they are the same price with the same committment level they were last year, but up to only 4 tickets. More than 4 tickets and I pay full price. Seems like they want me to take care of me and my family and that's all, at the discounted price. I'm in. I will also do a MGC donation.

He probably did what a lot of reporters/writers did, watched a couple of our first games, wrote us off and said the whole year was like the first several games. At times Meager was great, but at times he struggled.

We know that Dodge and the rest of college coaches are guilty of this, too, but I'm glad SMU really looks like the bad guy here. It is even worse for SMU because this happened to a minority athlete. It is hard enough to recruit minority athletes there in the first place (why would a minority athlete want to go to a school with such a small percentage of minorities enrolled? UNT, on the other hand, is a diversity wonderland with a thriving minority community.) Haha SMU!

Express Train, what the heck kind of name is that?? Is footbal trying go new age on us or something??? I voted for Red Wolves to see what the totals were and that seemed to be a huge favorite...Arkansas State Red Wolves.... not bad!

And from time to time he also voted high for North Texas to get the same recognition. I don't blame him at all. Why not have pride in your team and vote that way?

I needed this laugh to get a tough day started. Too funny! Sad thing is, that kind of stuff happens every day in every walk of life. It's like, "Hey Steve, how much do you think we can pull over on 'em?"

Does sound like a good idea but man, that would be a bold practice to start. I would imagine the [our] reputation would be less than admirable. But if the schollys are avaialble it sure may be something to consider!!

Whatever happens and whatever we can and can't talk about is OK. There has got to be something interesting we can do with the site. Man, we could or should be cucified for letting the football stories get that old at a time like this. I don't care what the bigger plan may be. I think it is inexcusable! Get the fever going now!!

I tend to agree with Monkeypox here. We have all seen even a walk-on get a ride and turn out to be a shining star. If we get a great DC and other good coaches we can help this guy and others excel. We can't buy players but the system isn't all wrong if we buy a coach or two that can chip the carbon away from this potential diamond!! Welcome the kid, give him a chance and lets see what the coaches can do. Its all good!

As much as I really like to see Dodge in the spotlight, shouldn't the feature article be a little more recent than the 4th of January?? If a recruit or interested donor were to see the same article for that long, I'm afraid interest would be lost....quickly. Looks like not much is going on. We all know it is [going on]. Something, almost anything new would be better.

Well, today was the projected D-day. Is there any news on the DC job? Please tell me Deloach really is a done deal!!

Calm down boys and girls. I just posted it as food for thought all the while having a big grin on my face at the reactions that may result. It would be a really cold day before we could think up ways to get our 2 and 3 star recruits (and I like every one we have and will get) the kind of leadership it takes to perform at the 3 and 4 star recruit level. Weird things may need to happen at UNT before the tide changes. I'm not afraid of a little change to challenge the weak!! If you don't have budget you better get some huge ba##s!!

That's right, now that you mention it. I used to see him on the sidelines alot. I thought maybe he had a brother that played at UNT?? That's when Kelvin was there too. Maybe they were visiting,.....or hangin' .

I thought the attendance didn't count unless it was just that, attendance. I didn't think we could count tickets "sold". Hmmm. If that's the case I can quit trying to get the ticket people to count my extra tickets when the family can't make it . They will do it by the way!!

I listened for as long as I could stomach UT/Austin talk. Love Bill but I didn't hear him either. If anyone can link a replay that would be great!
