I don't want this to be a Vito highjack.... Someone recently mentioned that Vito always has to leave a parting shot about last year's dismal 2-10 season. Since then I've been focusing on what he says and you were absolutely right. The guy can't help but keep shooting and shooting and shooting at last year's problems. Iunderstand that when it is pertinent to the story OK, but even when it's not, he mentions it. ugh!

Take a look at Ambergris Caye, off the coast of Belize. It may be a little more pricey but I will bet you will love it, especially if you want to do any snorkling or SCUBA. Totally relaxing and nothing but one big beach!

I have been watching SwTx for the last couple years and have noticed quite a bit going on for the good down there. I've always like the place and thought the atmosphere, education, the campus and the scenery was top notch. I have to admit, I'm not exicted about yet another D-1 school in Texas because of the strain on the recruting. Basically, it cuts in to our player pool but that is being selfish. I think that it's high time we start attracting kids from outside Texas anyway, a lot like OK does to Texas. I say if you can pull it off, you deserve it. If your admin and BOR are ready to support it, GREAT! Welcome! Also, it will just aggrevate SMUt and that's reason enough for me! Beat SMU....please!!!

WOW! These closed on Ebay at a whopping $8 a piece. In a response back to a question, I found out these were fully licensed and monogram tagged. That's one great deal. Look for these to be pieced out on Ebay soon for well over a $20 minimum bid per jersey. Still a good deal.

One of the most dangerous things I've seen happen over and over is when a non-physcian, especially a reporter has any incling of an opinion on diagnosis versus misdiagnosed in medicine. Frankly, it makes me crazy, ok, crazi--er. Then to add the fairly recent privacy and confidentiality laws the government fed us, everybody should leave this alone, especially the media!!!

Money in the pot is, .... money in the pot. Maybe it won't be used for a new stadium but it will relieve the pressure of some expense, somewhere, which may lead to money being freed for the new stadium eventually. I know, I'm an eternal optimist!

Great information, I have wondered about this type of breakdown. Please tell me the 6 that had no other offers were so dedicated to UNT they committed to UNT early in the process shunning off any other offers!

I suppose if you have NO Texas high relations you had better hire a "Director" to make things look good. Every single one of our recruiting coaches, especially Coach Dodge himself, shine and are outstanding in high school relations. Several factors can cause DVTs including injury to the vein, slowing of blood flow, and conditions that increase the tendency for the blood to clot (termed hypercoagulable states or thrombophilia). The most common cause of injury to a vein is trauma to the leg, such as occurs with broken bones, severe muscle injury, or surgery. Immobilization is the most common cause of slow blood flow in a vein, since movement of the leg muscles helps keep blood flowing through the deep veins. The biggest fear of a large vein DVT is the advancement to a pulmonary embolous which, if large enough, is almost always fatal if not detected and treated immediately. In some cases, DVT is initially treated with thrombolytic agents to bust up the clot followed by anticoagulant therapy like heparin and warfarin (that's right, an agent commony used in rat poison). This is typically long term treatment. The main adverse reaction is episodic bleeding. Nothing to play around with at all. Pretty serious stuff if of the more severe cases. Let's hope Thomas had a mild case and get's back on his feet, literally, very soon!!

It's hard to explain how their posts get under my skin. I know, "don't let it bother you", "take the high road", "they are just jealous and we'd do the same thing", blah, blah, blah! I guess over the years we have proved some of their comments right. Can't help it, can't stand 'em! I can't wait for them to set up a series with us. I think they've already figured out they lost their best chance of a close game by not signing with us for 2008. Would it not be the best to be able to play them in the NOB! Let the rivalry really begin!! GMG!

I'm guessing that since it is $18 it better be a lot better than the ones we got with our season tickets. What I continue to find interesting is the urge some have to make sure we are referred to as the University of North Texas instead of just North Texas. When you look at the licensing information you get from CLC we have North Texas by itself all over the branding art. Whatever, I love them both!

Honestly, how soon can the change to that promo be made and who can do it?? I would be too embarrased to say it was my oversight it got out there in the first place, and, I would not want to admit I was already working on it. I would probably work to correct the mess and then say, "look here, isn't this better". Is that happening?? Who can champion this. Is this something for Eric Capper; Director of UNT Athletic Media Relations, to step up and do?? We are already working on recruits for '09. Surely we won't let them really see this???
