Can anyone confirm there is a practice set for Saturday night (tomorrow)?? And, if so, is it OTTP?

FFR, I couln't agree more. I've spent several hours over the last several years with him and find Rick's stories, if nothing else, very intertaining. I am certain they are largely accurate because you just can't make some of those stories up. I would love to see a book published with RS as a contributing editor!! Or, why not a UNT history book with Coach Fry as a contributing editor?? Many contributors are still alive and could really make tis a good read. Toes would no doubt get stepped on!!

My guess is you can absolutely count the attendance. I think if you give away tickets in a promotions to get attendance you can count that too. Someone more official on this board can tell us.

ShopMeanGreen and I are planning to make the trip to Manhattan. Probably try to draft off of one of our faster driving Alums (and we all know who that is) if he and his lovely wife go. Have not made that contact yet nor do we know where we are staying. Maybe the red cup trick that we used in Arkansas last year is a reasonable non-published manner to handle the no-alcohol nonsense law they have up there.

I know I have been away from Denton for a while, but is the courthouse lighted green normally?? That's an interesting sign of support even if it's not meant that way. Maybe, just maybe, this article is related to a reason why this will turn in to a stadium thread quckly. A major hotel chain may really want to move in on the northwest sid of town.
