I'm still there. This will be a well attended game for UNT supporters, local and the Houston crowd. Lots of extra activities Friday night and Saturday. Counting on a coming out party by the offense!!

Just think how dominating we will be in 2 years! I'm not giving up on this program. Higher education coming out of Denton Texas needs our support. I heard the Chairman of the Board of Regents explain how a new stadium and a strong athletic program supports the ultimate goal of higher education (OK, I slightly paraphrased, but she is a lot smarter than I am). Things are haeaded that direction. This is not the same old-same old university folks. Don't think we can fix in years what has been broken or braking for decades. This new team is an example of this new university under the direction of Dr. B.

Seems a little Justin Willis'ish to me. None the less, I hope it shows he worked hard and made up ground he needed to improve his scholastic position. Hey, whatever motivates a kid (like football) to get his grades up can't be all bad.

Although, it is fun to dream about what could be. Headlines could read "UNT Drenches LSU at Home". Oh, maybe those are headlines for the hurricane de jour....

Section C of the alumni side certainly kept up their end of the bargain! Seemed roughty to me, I still can't talk, and I didn't leave until the final second ticked off the clock!

I guess I was just hoping the stadium wasn't just another part of the laundry list. I kind-of, maybe it's just me, think it's big enough to stand out a bit more. It's a great article by Dr. B. Great stuff, really!

It does concern me a little that the new stadium got the same priority or press as the community reading program. Maybe it's just me, tell me it's just me and I shouldn't worry!!!! Dentonites do need to read. Maybe that would help the attendance

Now all KSU has to do is find a decent chant. Their's was real lame and the "wildcat call". Even the KSU guys around us laughed at all of it!

GGII, did you go to the game?? I didn't see you there. We lost and were certainly handled by a bigger and more experienced team, but in my personal opinion we "didn't stink up the place". I sas plenty bright spots that Dodge and group will build on and polich to perfection. I'm pretty happy with some parts. Vizza was able to make his reads with all the time he needed. The only thing that bothered me there was why we didn't get more catches. When Stickler and others drop passes in their hands, we have work to do. Maybe nerves were in play, dunno. The O-line didn't move too well but they held up their end of the deal. We had some yards on the ground, we had some decent D-safety work. Sorry, we lost but didn't "stink up the place" my friend!!!

Rice looks beatable and SMU looks tired and lost already.....I just hope Rice doesn't let up just to be nice.

I don't know, #59 was going about 200 mph and the Baylor kids calls a pretty weak fair catch. I don't think #59 could have stopped or moved at all. He got a penalty for hitting after a fair catch. I don't think it was helment first. But....it looked like it hurt!! I'm glad he got up!

Anybody get a link to the clip of the Wake Forest #59 absolutely murdering the Baylor punt reciever? Man, what a hit!
