I'm a die-hard fan just like the rest of you guys, but I really didn't expect to get drilled this bad. But hey, we once lost our opener 65-0 and then went on to win our conference.

After respectable performances against Clemson, K-State, and Troy last year I guess I expected us not to get worse. Maybe the "you gotta get worse before you get better" cliche will actually hold true for us this time around. Like I said in the chat, the 2nd half will tell me a lot about Coach Mac. Will the body language and effort put forth show me what I need to see? Let's hope so.

I haven't seen the tailgating instructions, but here is my plan: 1. Arrive around noon, early enough to drop off my tent, chairs, coolers, radio, etc. at the Hill. 2. Walk everything down to our spot, and have the folks in my party start set-up. 3. Walk back up to my car at the drop-off spot, and drive it to my parking spot on campus. 4. Walk back to the tailgate spot on the Hill. 5. Drink beer, listen to music, throw the football, play washers, eat some good food, and drink some more beer. 6. About 45 minutes before kick-off, I will use a chain and combination lock to connect my coolers, tent, etc. together just for security's sake since I will be leaving that stuff out there during the game (everyone in my party is attending the game). Obviously, no valuables will be left out at the tailgate site. 7. Enjoy the game. 8. Return to the tailgate spot to enjoy another hour or so of tailgating and post game discussion. 9. Leave my party to go retrieve my car from campus. 10. Park in the drop-off zone once again to load all of my belongings to head home. Sounds like it should work. Does anyone know if there will be any kind of security monitoring the Hill during the game? I'm prepared if not, but it sure would be nice.

Not crazy about the triangular pant stripe. Otherwise, I really really like the new look. Clean and classic, a little bit retro. I want to see the green top/white pant option though.

The folks asking us to stop complaining and to stop being bitter need to lighten up a little. Fans get emotional after losses, especially losses like last night's. Our board has always been relatively calm and grounded in these situations compared to others I've read. Try reading an Arkansas board after they lose to a mid-major. I want to bitch and moan about what pissed me off in the final minutes of that game...this is the place to do it!

Agreed, thought our experience would have kept us from having an epic meltdown in the final minute...guess I was wrong. Also, how do we not even get the ball inbounded on the last play? Did anyone even set a screen out on the court anywhere to free a guy up?

Wow, I didn't get to watch a lot of games this season unfortunately, but I was not impressed with Jones's game management towards the end. When the bright lights were on, the crowd was loud, and things were hectic...our guys looked completely lost. Did UALR's scrambling have something to do with our mistakes down the stretch? I think so, but we looked completely scattered and frantic. It took Tristan missing a FT, an illegal screen which led to a 3, and a push off which led to another 3 for these guys to get the win...maybe it was just their year.

I like the billboards, but that Powerpoint style commercial I see every morning on the Channel 8 news is terrible. It looks like an ITT Tech commercial.
