I was just bringing back my post from last August because it mentioned Russo leaving. I guess it was my jerk attempt at a lame "I told you so..." I realize it was kinda petty, so please disregard.

I won't ever complain that these drawings exist because that means that we're just getting closer and closer to playing somewhere other than Fouts. However, the more I look at this thing, the uglier it looks to me. Maybe it's just the quality of the sketch, but the other rendering was so much better. There is just too much quirky stuff going on here.

I'd be willing to place a large amount of money on that race.

Do they have their helmets/jerseys designed yet? That color scheme works really well for Virginia.

Ahhh...I miss some of the old logo discussions from the past. Here are a few old images I found from back then (what was I thinking on some of these?). Was pretty close with this helmet prediction. This one too. Just messing around. The theme I wanted when the new logo choices had come out. An old helmet logo I wanted. Another logo I wanted.

Sorry to bump an old topic, but I just now finally got this game for the 360. Have any of you guys used the stadium sounds feature to make Fouts as realistic as possible on game days? Do they still sell the Green Brigade CD's on campus? What songs other than Fly Like an Eagle, the fight song, etc. do you use? Can you get the cadence that they play on first downs? Thanks in advance.

Seriously? I would think that Vizza staying would make it more likely to repeat the win totals from his first two seasons. Maybe my logic is flawed somehow. I do think that it is wrong to bash Vizza as a person, but I see very little of that happening here. Criticizing his on field performance, while sometimes excessively I'll admit, is acceptable on a football message board, right? I think that some of the folks on this board that know the Vizza's personally are letting that cloud their evaluation of his on field performance. Again, I could be wrong.

Okay, I think this might be a little bit much. The guy showed that he is a fierce competitor and wants badly to win. He made some really nice plays in his time here. However, to say he is too good for us is typical North Texas mentality. The guy floated more passes and threw more interceptions than I've seen in a long time. I understand that he was never fully protected and that the offensive scheme was obviously "high school" for lack of a better term. He has his strengths, don't get me wrong. But decision making under pressure was never one of them in my opinion. I would have liked to have seen what he would have done as a junior and a senior and with a more experienced line, but good luck wherever he ends up.

Got family in Hot Springs, so I'll most likely be going. If you decide to stay near downtown, the Arlington is awesome. Other than that, it's better to stay somewhere on the other side of town (away from the horse track).

I understand your point, but those conversations we had about completion dates didn't just come out of the blue. All of the speculation/discussion was based on statements, whether public or from insiders, from representatives of the athletic department. I also understand that the department might have been slightly overconfident in their ability to make this happen in those time frames. Until I see a formal statement that we are breaking ground, I'll continue to not get my hopes up. I seriously wouldn't be surprised at all if this thing wasn't ready until the 2013 season.

Man, I'm tired of hearing about dates for completion/groundbreaking, etc. At one point, we talked about a new stadium in 2007, then 2009, then 2010, now 2011. This is almost to the point of being funny.

Ahhh...the neverending inferiority complex of a Redskins fan. You all did no better than we did this season, and we still own you in overall history and prestige.
