When have I ever said I was pro DD? Look back at the history of my posts and I am sure you will see differently. I am just sick of all this. The season is not even close to being over. We have a game tonight against our conference rival and we are nitpicking what the coach said, because it ruffled our feathers a bit. It is counter-productive to talk about firing the coach before the season is over. Let's kick the MUTS ass and take our place at the top of the conference again. If we falter in conference like we did last year, I'm sure I'll be on the fire DD bandwagon, also. But for now, I will root for my team, I will root for my school, and I will root for the man running the show.

Eagle Man, My point is that some of you are so negative that anything DD does or says is just another excuse to jump down his throat. I agree with LongJim, I don't think what he said was negative at all. He was stating the truth. If you would like to use the consumer marketplace as your reference point, the customer is not always right. Some people just like to bitch and whine. Y'all remind me of the students at UNT when I attended. No one had school spirit and everyone had the same complaints that few on this board foment repetitively. I would definitely be happy. I have bashed DD and RF many times, mainly after losing in a drunken stupor, but you can't argue with that kind of record.

Add to that Big Dawg, that after a 2-9 season DD would once again be coach of the year.

UT averages around 90,000 for football and 13,000 for b-ball. That is about 14% as many people that show up for football. UNT averages around 16,000 for football and 2,000 for b-ball. That is about 13%. Maybe we're not so bad.

Because the upper section of the Frank Erwin Center sucks!

I don't think that is what he is saying at all. Will I settle for winning the Suck Belt this year? Yes. It is kind of hard to go back in time. I would have loved for us to beat Akron last night, but beating a conference champion bowl team in their home opening game is a tall order. Although winning the Belt is not comparable to winning the Big XII or even the MAC I will be proud of my school and the accomplishment. If it were so easy to win the belt, then why didn't that crappy team we had last year win it? I think just about everybody on this board would love to see DD & RF go. It makes me sick that anytime somebody on this board shows a little enthusiasm for the team, they are labeled as a DD boot licker. Get over it. It is what it is.

I can't believe y'all haven't signed up for this site, yet. I watched a couple of football games that I couldn't make the drive to last year. I depended on the site to watch B-Ball games last season. Last season they didn't carry road games. This is great! I will be watching and cheering with all of you! GMG! BTW, check out the game highlights. Pretty cool. I watched the spring game through this site last year as well.
