  1. I truly can not believe the restraint shown by board members on this one. And since everyone else is just so classy, may I submit: Norah Jones isn't a sport? How do explain Plumm's tennis elbow?
  2. One typo does not make an idiot. So, I'll vote yes. Leading the nation in rushing is something that most schools have never achieved.
  3. The video provided by meangreensports has the men's video and women's audio. Has anyone heard a score, because I can't tell. Women are getting whipped.
  4. Yeah, right.
  5. If we could take him to Pancho's, he would know the crickets in Fouts by name.
  6. Driving to wok in SA today, I almost wrecked my car when they mentioned Vizza's commitment to Ole UNT on WOAI.
  7. Learning to play facing the basket, instead of his back to it, has been a tough transition for HE.
  8. I was messing around with the On Demand stations the other day and found an archive of the area HS Football games of the week. One of the games was Lee vs. Roosevelt. For those not aware, we have a verbal commitment from Lee DT Jesse Desoto. Let me tell all of you, this kid looked great! He was injured early in the second half and didn't play much towards the end. When he was in the game he spent the majority of his time in the backfield. He forced two fumbles, had a couple of tackles for loss and sacked the QB. The officials could have called offensive holding on probably every single play. He was double teamed often, but was still able to break free and cause chaos in the backfield. The other game I watched was the Alamo Heights Mules vs. The Boerne Greyhounds. Only in HS football could you have a mascot match-up like that. Sam Dibrell is going to be a great reciever for us. He must have caught 15 passes. I think he scored three TD. He is quick, runs tight routes and has the size and strength to abuse defenders. He had a couple of circus catches that reminded me of the Mighty Quinn. Dibrell worked really well with QB Vizza. Vizza has sound mechanics when passing and also has the speed to run the ball. He threw for almost 400 yards in the game and his completion % was around 75%. I really hope we can persuade him to come to good ole UNT.
  9. Believe me, I hope you're right.
  10. You must be seeing something that I'm not. He is shooting 28% from the floor.
  11. This may have been brought up before, but why do we play WKU twice this season and ULM only once?
  12. Add to that the #7 (Jesse DeSoto) & #17 (Sam Dibrell) players in the SA area. Have we ever had two top 25 players from the San Antonio area?
  13. Actually Mean Green before Joe. GO PLUMMER!
  14. Chill, guys. I think that was PC's chick.
  15. I have not lived in Denton for almost 2 years now, but Hannah's was a freaking great restuarant. Good wine selection, great steak and seafood. They took over the building that The Texican used to be in. If you go there to eat and drink you are certain to drop at least $100, but it is worth it. Smokers (I don't know any ) this is a great place to sit next to the fountain, even in the winter, and enjoy a smoke, some great food with a french twist, and a nice Scotch. As far as Scotch goes, they don't carry just Dewar's and JB. Sorry, I go on and on.....
  16. Well, you have one up on their cooks, don't you?
  17. That's a good win, I don't care who you are!
  18. Can you post this on the main board to maybe boost attendance?
  19. NT plays 5 of the next six games at home. If we can't make our run here, we won't make it.

  21. Marshall attendance in MAC '03 & '04 averaged 26,885 per game. Marshall attendance in CUSA '05 & '06 averaged 26,237 per game. What's your point?
  22. If we had a timeout, why didn't we call it at 1/2 court?
  23. I don't know that he is in the doghouse, but he played completely out of control last night. Every time he touched the ball, whether in the back court or around the bucket, only one thought entered his mind: Shoot it. When Sturns plays like this, the only option is to sit him on the bench.
