Call me poser if you want. You might have me confused with someone that gives a sh**. I live in New Braunfels and work in San Antonio so I am fairly familiar with these two programs. UTSA is drawing crowds NT would die for. We blame our poor attendance on the teams we play. Have you looked at who UTSA has played and still drawn great crowds? The city of SA is getting behind this team and time will only improve that. They are 2-4 (same as NT), and went 2 OT with a team (USA) that the Suck Belt is considering on elevating. Why not play them now when we have chance to kick their teeth in? From a purely selfish standpoint, I would love to see us play these teams because it would be very easy for me to go to those games. And for those of you still in DFW, wouldn't you like to make a trip to the Alamo Dome and be in a crowd of 30,000+ that we might actually win? Good revenue for the program and winnable at the same time. PS: They sell beer at the Alamo Dome.

I remember in 2000, The Sporting News ranked Denton as the worst sports city in the country. Eleven years later.....

The Big East is dead. If the SEC comes to raid Clemson, Fla. St., etc., the ACC will look to fill those spots and most likely swallow the remaining football members from the BE. I really thought that the Big 10 would have gone after Pitt. Instead, I see the Big 10 adding Notre Dame, Kansas, Kansas St. and Missouri. With the death of the Big 12 & Big East, the MWC & CUSA will race to get to 16. CUSA will probably add Baylor, Iowa St, and who knows. FIU? Troy? The MWC will try like hell to get TCU and BYU back and maybe try to raid CUSA? What a mess.

I wouldn't jump to conclusions based on 1:30 worth of video. We could probably take that same 1:30 out of my day and conclude that all I do is read the newspaper on the throne.

I love the pure shooting type. I get more excited watching a guy bury a 3-pt bomb with a man in his face, than watching a thunder dunk on the noggin. Without seeing any of the new recruits play a minute, it seems like we have a lot of mid range guys. Pye might be the guy to strecth the defense and leave you with a little Pye in the eye. Rock me!

I don't think that baseball would hold us back. I am a big college baseball fan and minus TCU the MWC is terrible at baseball. They generally get 1 team into the NCAA tournament a year. Boise does not have baseball. Colorado St. & Wyoming do not have baseball.

It's funny that you posted this, because I was just thinking about this. As NT fans we are so happy about small victories, because we don't have much else to hang our hats on. Imagine what the attendance would be if we were a .500 ball club.

Personally, I would love this arrangement. I live in North New Braunfels and work in San Antonio. Maybe, this would get Pollack to gather up the family and finally come visit.
