  1. Iowa City, Florida????? Mac definitely had something to do with this.
  2. So, would you say that he is a downhill runner?
  3. Thanks MBA. I needed a good laugh. Can someone please write a caption for this?
  4. Southwestern also lost. Oh yeah, so did New Braunfels Canyon.
  5. The Big12 thought they could wait on Louisville, as well. I would if they featured North Texas.
  6. We will also have all of the Texas teams and Army at home.
  7. He looked good clogging up the middle.
  8. Sir Calvin and South Alabama just beat Mississippi State.
  9. My mother was a professor at the University of Texas. They would pick professors from different departments and name them assistant coaches for a game. They would sit behind the bench, have their name announced with the coaches, and get a signed photo or basketball. They would also be given a number of tickets so their friends or family could come see them. Not sure if we do anything like that, but my mom got to sit behind Jody Conrad one time and had a blast.
  10. Consequently millions?
  11. Wow. You have people from hundreds of miles away reading about your balls.
  12. The army destroys temple. Headline from the end times.
  13. New screen name?
  14. No, but I have enjoyed Ruskies on a cold day at Fouts.
  15. If that's the case, they can take a dilly bar and shove it.
  16. Look at it like this GOMG2013, Larry Brown will always be remembered for his six interceptions for the 1995 Super Bowl Champs in the regular season and two in the Super Bowl. The truth be told, it only happened because no one wanted to throw the ball to the other side of the field. Deion Sanders was not only a Hall of Famer, but he made a very average cornerback into a Super Bowl MVP. If Chad Davis can have that same effect on his teammates, he has done his job. I can't wait to see this secondary. If all of them can live up to their potential, we may have something special. I have been watching this team since the 2000 season and have never thought going into a season that our secondary would actually be a help and not a hindrance. If they play tough as a unit, not as individuals, they are going to be fun to watch. Chad Davis will be instrumental in making this a reality.
  17. Oh, I think he is.
  18. Not me. It would be nice to be ahead of someone in the standings for once.
  19. Aren't they both starting?
  20. Great news! I love Marilyn Chambers!
  21. I can honestly say that I have never talked smack about Chad Davis. Must be the rest of you MFers.
  22. Let's say the Big 12-2 decides to take 4 and spurns BYU. Instead they take HOU, Cincy, MEM and USF or UCF to get to 14. That leaves the AAC with: Temple USF or UCF ECU Tulsa Tulane SMU UCONN Navy ESPN has a clause in the TV contract that they can cancel if a certain number and combination of teams leave the conference. If the rumor is true, UCONN goes back with its brothers to play basketball in the Big East and joins the MAC football only. That would bring the MAC to a total of 14 teams. Would Navy stick around? They are football only right now. They will have no problem filling out a schedule as an independent. If those two things happen, the AAC will look like this: Temple USF or UCF ECU Tulsa Tulane SMU At this point would it make more sense for a CUSA team to jump ship to join this group that will likely fall back down to earth with ESPN pulling the TV deal? Or would it make more sense to stand strong as a conference and force the G5 re-shuffle? From a long term strategic standpoint, why would the P5/ESPN not want to destroy the "best" G5 conference in order to put a final strangle hold on TV dollars, the National Championship and club membership? ESPN will have to pay the new Big 12 members regardless. To help offset this cost, why not scrap the AAC contract? At this point the remaining members of the AAC, CUSA, MWC, MAC and Sun Belt need to get together and, as others have mentioned, waive entrance/exit fees in order to realign geographically. In this scenario, the MAC and MWC would probably be set and stand-pat. A guy can dream can't he?
  23. Where's that ten foot pole?
