  1. I was there. Coulda shoulda woulda in that game, as well. We had absolutely no offense that day until the statue of Hiram delivered that pass.
  2. Those sound like Hiram Gonzalez numbers.
  3. Remember in 2002 when we only lost to Texas 27-0?
  4. This has been the case for quite some time.
  5. Speaking of which, look at Georgetown's schedule. 1 OOC away game.
  6. Wanna sell more tickets? Try not to shit the bed against cross town rivals.
  7. I don't blame any of our fans to have optimism or look for the silver lining. I've been trying to do the same thing for the last 20+ years, as well. Personally, I just don't have the fortitude to continue to do so. I accept it. We suck and have sucked for as long as I have watched the team. We have had some bright spots along the way, but most programs would look back on these as springboards to further success. Every time we have had success (in North Texas terms) it has resulted in another long drawn out rebuilding process that never happens. We have been told as fans to just hang in there for another 3-4 years. Once we move into a new stadium things will change. If we could just play against more regional opponents, things will change. If we can get an indoor practice facility, things will change. If we can pay our coaches more money, things will change. I have no clue how close we are to turning the corner. It is very understandable why our alumni are so disillusioned, apathetic and just worn out.
  8. I don't know why I am jumping down this rabbit hole, but what does this have to do with teaching creationism or evolution? As far as science goes, if you truly follow the scientific method, the conclusion of your experiment is still yet a theory. Science should never be treated as truth or dogma. It is merely an expression of what we are able to understand at a given time under certain circumstances. Science is neither the judge or jury, but a Petri dish that demonstrates an outcome in a controlled environment. None of us truly know the answers to these questions. As you aptly put it, we are all trying to "unlock some of the mysteries of our world. & universe." Your statement here indicates to me that the theories are still up to debate and examination. I have this sneaky feeling that the true answer exists either in between the Liberty and Richard Dawkins view or something way beyond what any of us has comprehended.
  9. That would mean a first week bye on the schedule again. Thanks RV.
  10. Along this same line, most North Texas fans feel like they just discovered why there is a red and a blue thermometer after multiple uses.
  11. Jerry will do whatever he can to prevent that from happening.
  12. Bummer. We'll leave the light on for you.
  13. Got that Tony Mitchell look on his face, stats and pure talent will never fix that. Congrats and welcome to this goofy ass world, Mason.
  14. Awesome list, but Jimmy and Byrd should be way ahead of Bishop. Roy belongs in the "Oh my, what could have been" category.
  15. The machines have achieved singularity. Run!
  16. As UNTCrazy would say, this random website http://www.fbschedules.com/ncaa/indep/army-black-knights.php shows no NT/Army game in 2021, however, still shows NT/Army games in 2017, 2019, and 2020. I tend to think that Brett may have the dates wrong, 2021 would have been the game between NT/Army that would even the series at 3 home/away. Unless, of course, we are dropping the 2019 game, as well. This would mean that we will only have Army visit Denton next year and will travel to NY twice (2016 & 2020).
