Hehe, the jersey did, but I ordered it WAY ahead of time. Before I knew it was a daughter, I think. Last season, she was 6-9 months old, and it was still too big. She'll be able to wear it this year though. Some vendor, not sure if it's Voertman's or the Union store, has jerseys for $50 on gameday in the Mean Green Village. Not sure if they have #20, or how small they go.

Things are bad right now, but I don't see how you can say there's been no progress. That's just anger talking. Should we be winning at least SOME games against the Tulsas and Akrons? Hell yes. Lately we can't even hang with them. It's a real problem, and we haven't seen anything from DD and company to make us think they have the answer. Regardless of what we or anybody thinks of the Sun Belt, we have some recent success, a new athletic center, and a killer tailgating scene to point to. In 2000 we had jack squat.

Other than the lack of support for a program like this, there is one big problem.... Fouts only seats 30,500. I don't think it's fair to charge everybody for admission when everybody can't physically fit in the stadium. That doesn't mean student tickets have to stay free, although I think they should be until we get another run of a few good seasons and student attendance has been solidified.

It was locker-room bulletin board material if there ever was any. Also, there was the sweet play in '03 (I think) to end the game.... MUTS were driving to take the lead, w/ time running out. Booger blows through the line, hammers the QB, causes the ball to pop up in the air, he rolls, and catches the ball to end the game. It totally summed up our series w/ them.

I don't think DD would throw Ramon under the bus. Seems like he could have done that before now if he was going to. Should have, anyway. As for Etheridge, there may be something to that. Our OL hasn't been the same since he got here. Maybe the talent has just dropped off too much? Inherently hard to tell w/ an OL. I will say this about the OL.... Dickey always talks about how we run a zone blocking scheme that is hard to master. If it's so damn hard, why the hell are we still doing it?

Going into the season, I said I didn't care if we went 1-11, as long as the 1 was SMU. Be careful what you wish for. We will win some more games, although the jury is out as to whether we will compete in conference. I hope Darrell takes a long look this week and compares the playcalling of the last two games. On the bright side, our defense looks like it's the real deal again. We just have to get more than 6 downs on offense per quarter to keep them from wearing down.

I'd say winning the Sun Belt is more important, but you have to seal the deal and win the bowl too. And we've failed to do that 3 out of 4 times. But you do have to squeak out some OOC games, or you make the conference look bad. Like we've done.

I heard that Quinn is going to have an Adamantium skeleton installed before his illustrious NFL career starts. OK, Dickey is pretty damn funny.
