Yep, and I'll be watching. I used to turn down the volume on the TV broadcast and listen to Jub Jub. But on the last TV game there was a delay so that I heard the play on the radio before I saw it on TV. I blamed it on my Tivo, but it might have just been that particular broadcast.

So confusing.

Here are the two reasons that we beat SMU decisively, and have sucked since: 1. Our team, coaches, and fans knew how critical that game was and responded accordingly. 2. SMU was not prepared for Woody. All they had to go on to prepare for him was UT footage. Tulsa, Akron, MT, and FIU all had the SMU game film to watch, and knew how to stop Woody when we: 1) don't throw 10-yard passes; and 2) don't get good protection from the O-line. You could also argue that the early blocked kick and touchdown took the wind out of their sails. If we played SMU again this week, I think it would be a VERY different ball game.

I think that's what caused the Oregon debacle..... that the Pac 10 doesn't use TV feeds.

I predict a sloppy, wild ass game that leaves a bad taste in your mouth, win or lose. But I'll still be glued to the TV, wishing my Tivo didn't cause an insurmountable 1.5-second delay behind the great Dunham & Dickenson radio broadcast.

I'm just amazed that anybody replied to a Green Grenade post.

I thought it was a good weeknight game, and it had some excitement. Sure, there was some sloppy play. Sloppy officiating too. Overall, both defenses looked pretty good. Several great hits. That clothesline was scary. I hope we can score on either of them. I think this was a letdown game for the Cajuns after the Houston win. Babb did not have a good game, but their defense hung in there, forced turnovers, and they snuck out with a W.

Right now 2-10 is all we can be completely sure of. I think we'll win about 3 more. One might be this weekend. La Tech would be a nice win, and I really want to beat FAU. We can't fall to 0-3 against those mofos. That's just pathetic.

To hell with it.... put Quinn at QB and run the option. Tune needs to keep his redshirt. We don't really know how he compares w/ the rest of these guys, but one thing is clear - the OL is not protecting well. If he does turn out to be a great QB, no point in wasting a year of his eligibility getting sacked and desperately trying to go .500 in conference.

If there's any TV coverage, should make for an interesting broadcast too, since they always screw up and show Evans instead of Dickey for the first quarter.

I definitely feel for them. Neither team gave up.

I was pretty happy w/ the attendance after the ABSOLUTE PILE OF S**T against MTSU last week, not to mention UT-0U. One way to get non-attending tailgaters in.... move the free Bud and Miller booths inside Fouts for the first quarter only. Restricting tailgating is not the answer. Start that, and you'll be under 12K average in short order.

Believe me, I left WAAAYYYY before the fireworks started. Unfortunately I could still see them from my tailgate. I'm pretty surprised to read these responses. When the fireworks start off after a loss, everyone I see/hear seems completely disgusted by it. Oh well, I'll drop it.

I'm sure this was discussed already, but I just now got up the stomach to come back to this board. I don't want to ever see another G-D firework at Fouts Field. I don't care if we beat USC there to secure a berth in the BCS national championship. It's not worth it to have to watch them go off after getting our ass stomped by MTSU worse than we did by the Longhorns*. *Yes, I know what the scores were. Save it.

I don't see how anyone could stand talking about this miserable team for 20 minutes anyway.
