  1. We went to the UA game in Little Rock a couple of years ago and the people were incredibly nice. We parked on the grass at some elementary school for tailgating, and were the last ones to leave after the game. Had a great time.
  2. I recently saw about half that movie for the first time. Horrible indeed. Even the great Robert Loggia was just silly. The worst part was that I was never convinced that there were more than 14 players on the field at any one time, much less 22.
  3. Cleveland? Ugh. Where good players go to wallow in loserdom.
  4. I figure that's around 15000 lbs of soup.
  5. Careful. The Fake Lonnie Finch will be calling you a UT bootlicker in 5... 4... 3....
  6. Bobby Bowden is pissed that his son got fired and just faxed his resume to Rick Villareal.
  7. Good chance of that. One issue is that Dodge has another 3-4 weeks of playoffs. Ouch. edit: that is, assuming SLC wins out.
  8. Of those 3, Dodge is my favorite, hands down. And the above statement makes me think he would be RV's frontrunner as well. There is not another realistic candidate out there that could capitalize on DFW recruiting like Dodge.
  9. Ugh. Just think.... by beating SMU, which was the ONLY bright spot in this whole putrid season, we may have shot ourselves in the foot. Had they won, they'd be 7-5 and probably headed to New Orleans, with no thoughts of firing Bennett. Let's see how this thing shakes out, but it would just be one more typical chapter for us if SMU hires Dodge out from under us and he takes them to a CUSA championship.
  10. I know you're kidding, but.... The Goldfields have 3 sons that went to Denton High about the same time I did. (Assuming this is the same family and not some wild ass coincidence). So their eligibility is wayyyy over, hehe.
  11. oops.
  12. I think we should all be relieved that the black jerseys didn't say Gallery Furniture on the front of them. I'm guessing Matress Mack paid for them.
  13. You mean Craig "The Gentle Misogynist" Miller?
  14. So do you think DD would let him crash on the couch if he came to Denton for an interview?
  15. Well, it is RV's job.... Plus, it's only been a week.
  16. Listen with caution. Although the Ticket makes no sense at first, you will soon be hopelessly addicted and constantly confusing your wife with comments like, "Hey Now," "Former Kansas City Royals Great," and "merkin."
  17. "If" that guy is RV's pick, it sounds like.... Rick Villareal : Randy Butler :: Jerry Jones : Chan Gailey
  18. Where does it even say he's a candidate? Unless I'm missing something, this is just the bio of some spare assistant from USM.
  19. Remember the Titans is the best, and it isn't even close. For pure entertainment, The Replacements (Gene Hackman and hot cheerleaders) and The Program (James Caan and psycho steroid dude) get my vote. The Waterboy is the funniest, and one of Adam Sandler's best. Varsity Blues sucked from beginning to end, but the worst part is the fake accents. Any Given Sunday is horrible. I don't know how an Oliver Stone movie with Al Pacino about football can suck, but it does. Might have to do with the sorry camerawork and ridiculously high stadium walls to avoid revealing the lack of crowd.
  20. Man, I REALLY like what he has to say. All I need to know about his dad to like him as a coach-- his record at UTEP and seeing him lead the team out of the tunnel, brandishing a miner's pickaxe, firing up the team and the crowd. Surely some of that rubbed off on the younger Price.
  21. Is the chat still going? Hammer his ass.
  22. And quoting the same source, "I got CHUNKS of guys like you in my STOOL."
  23. sorriness.
  24. I just wish she'd be careful w/ that saw. From that picture it already looks like she cut her left arm off.
  25. Anybody voting for #4 is kidding themselves.
